EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English or related field.</li><li>
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public relations, media relations, corporate communications, or institutional communications.</li><li>
Demonstrated experience securing earned media coverage at local and/or national levels.</li><li>
Strong professional writing experience, including press releases, executive messaging, and media materials.</li><li>
Proficiency with media databases, CRMs, Microsoft Office, and digital publishing tools.</li></ul>
Desirable<ul><li>
Experience in nonprofit, academic, research, cultural, or mission-driven organizations.</li><li>
Familiarity with crisis communications planning and response.</li><li>
Experience supporting thought leadership positioning.</li><li>
Experience supporting senior leaders or executives in communications strategy.</li></ul>

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates in a traditional office environment with flexibility of up to one remote workday per week. Evening and weekend availability may be required to support events, media opportunities, or urgent communications needs.
