The internal communications manager will collaborate and coordinate with various groups, teams and leaders across the firm to plan and develop effective communication to achieve desired outcomes.</p>
<p><b>What You&rsquo;ll Do:</b></p>
<ul><li>Strategic Planning: Leads development and implementation of internal communications strategies that support HNTB&rsquo;s core mission, vision and objectives.</li>
<li>Content Creation: Develops engaging and informative content that is consistent with brand messaging for a variety of communications channels including internal, social and web platforms.</li>
<li>Analytics: Establishes metrics to regularly assess engagement levels and reach to refine strategies.</li>
<li>Internal News: Oversees and manages content for HNTB&rsquo;s internal communications platforms, including company intranet.</li>
<li>Market Research: Researches current industry trends and proactively offers guidance on best practices in internal communication approaches.</li>
<li>Communications Adviser: Serves as a communications counselor to offer guidance on best practices.</li>
<li>Collaboration: Collaborates with team members, freelance writers, videographers, designers, photographers.</li>
<li>Budget Management: Creates and manages internal communications budget.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul><p><b>What You&rsquo;ll Need:</b></p>
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or related field and 8 years corporate communications or agency experience, or</li>
<li>In lieu of education, 12 years of relevant experience</li>
</ul><p><b>What You'll Bring:</b></p>
<ul><li>Excellent writing skills including expert knowledge of AP Style</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Teamwork/collaboration</li>
<li>Ability to manage and work with a network of freelancers</li>
<li>Highly organized and deadline driven</li>
<li>Be a self-starter who possesses creativity and can-do attitude</li>
<li>Experience interacting and working with senior level leadership</li>
<li>Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and in a timely manner</li>
<li>Familiar with web content management systems such as Microsoft SharePoint Online and Canva</li>
<li>Passion for storytelling</li>
