The Community Assistant is a multifaceted position. Community Assistants will assist with day-to-day operations, leasing and maintaining facilities. Responsibilities:

9. Maintain a confidential relationship between employees and residents<br>
10. Assist with social media and documentation of community programs<br>
11. Work with the RD to maintain proper records for all resident&rsquo;s student status.<br>
12. Assist with move-out and move-out preparations through administrative, operations, and maintenance.</div>

ASSISTANT COMMUNITY MANAGER</b></p><p>
The Assistant Community Manager is responsible for overseeing, under the supervision of the Community Manager, the everyday operations and financial functions of the housing community. As the Assistant Community Manager, you will play a vital role in the delinquency and collection of rent to optimize the property's cash flow and financial position. As an Assistant Community Manager, you will manage all phases of the operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration &amp; risk management in the absence of the Community Manager. Monitor and follow up on bad debt to include preparation of late notices, resident and guarantor contact, and filing evictions.</li><li>

Responsible for posting of all charges to resident and non-current resident accounts; to also include bill back of utilities where applicable.</li><li>

Administrative Management</p><ul><li>

</p><p></p><p><b>REQUIRED EDUCATION AND TRAINING</b></p><p><b>
DEGREES AND DIPLOMAS</b></p><ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.</li><li>
Knowledge and one (1) year of experience in multi-family property management.</li></ul><p><b>
TRAINING/CERTIFICATES/ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIPS</b></p><ul><li>
National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) preferred.</li><li>
Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) preferred.</li><li>
Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) preferred.</li><li>
Housing Quality Standards (HQS) preferred.</li><li>
Uniform Physical Condition Standards (UPCS) preferred.</li><li>
LIHTC training preferred.</li></ul><p><b>
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES.</b></p><ul><li>
Multi-family leasing, accounting, marketing and customer service background or a combination of accounting skills/education with customer service experience.</li><li>
Supervisory skills sufficient to manage team members in the Community Manager&rsquo;s absence.</li><li>
Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively.</li><li>
Ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, contractors and clients.
</li><li>Mathematical skills are required.
</li><li>Proficiency in using office equipment, property management software(s), as well as Microsoft Office.</li><li>
Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, OSHA Requirements, EEOC Laws, and Local, City and State Ordinances.</li></ul><p><i>
