Position Description: 
The Community Liaison works under the direction of the Community Coordinator to implement, coordinate, and sustain community engagement activities in assigned communities. The Community Liaison advances the agency&rsquo;s mission by building and sustaining trusting relationships with community stakeholders, facilitating communication and coordination across partners, and connecting community members to resources within the child welfare continuum of care. 
 
Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Build strong, trust-based relationships with individuals, families, and local leaders within assigned communities.</li><li>
Regularly attend community events, meetings, and gatherings to maintain visibility and foster collaboration.</li><li>
Identify and document existing community supports and services related to child and family well-being.</li><li>

Required Qualifications:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Community Development, Public Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.</li><li>
Two (2) years&rsquo; experience in community engagement, social services, grassroots organizing, or a related field.</li></ul>

Protocol and Official Visits
 <ul>
<li>Facilitate protocol arrangements at airports and ports of entry for the Director General, senior management, and official visitors, including arrivals and departures.</li>
<li>Support the organization of official visits, missions, and meetings involving Egyptian government officials, diplomatic missions, and institutional partners.</li>
<li>Coordinate protocol formalities for official events, ceremonies, and meetings, as requested by management.</li>
</ul>
Government Liaison and Official Correspondence
 <ul>
<li>Act as a focal point for liaison with relevant Egyptian government authorities, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, security entities, customs, and other public institutions.</li>
<li>Prepare, submit, and follow up on official correspondence in Arabic to governmental entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with institutional requirements (all correspondence to be cleared and signed by the supervisor).</li>
<li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of host country regulations, instructions, and procedures affecting ICARDA operations and proactively inform management of relevant changes.</li>
</ul>
Visas, Residencies, and Staff Formalities

<li>Submit and proactively follow up on visa requests for ICARDA staff, scientists, trainees, and visitors of various nationalities, in coordination with the supervisor and the Travel and Administrative Officer.</li>
<li>Submit and follow up on residency permits, renewals, and related formalities for international staff and eligible dependents, ensuring timely processing.</li>
<li>Assist incoming staff with clearance of personal effects through airports or seaports, ensuring smooth and timely delivery.</li>

Customs, Import/Export, and Logistics Support
 <ul>
<li>Obtain required governmental approvals for the import and export of equipment, biological material, and seeds between ICARDA offices, in coordination with the relevant technical units (PSD and others).</li>
<li>Liaise with customs authorities and checkpoint ports to facilitate ICARDA shipments in compliance with national regulations.</li>
</ul>
Administrative and Institutional Support

<li>Renew licenses and registrations for ICARDA vehicles in Egypt.</li>
<li>Support, under the guidance of HR and Finance, matters related to Egyptian social security and tax authorities as applicable to ICARDA staff.</li>

The candidate will be responsible for land acquisition coordination, building approvals, RERA registration, PMC compliance, and handling all regulatory matters related to real estate development.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Coordinate with Government Authorities, Municipal Corporations, Revenue Departments, and Urban Development Bodies across Maharashtra.</li><li>Manage land-related documentation including title verification, NA conversion, layout approvals, and land records.</li><li>Obtain building plan approvals, commencement certificates (CC), occupation certificates (OC), and other statutory clearances.</li><li>Handle RERA registration, compliance documentation, quarterly updates, and regulatory submissions.</li><li>Ensure compliance with PMC / local municipal corporation rules and development control regulations (DCR).</li><li>Liaise with departments such as Town Planning, Environment, Fire, Pollution Control Board, Water, Electricity, and other statutory authorities.</li><li>Monitor project approvals timelines and ensure smooth documentation and regulatory processes.</li><li>Maintain strong relationships with local government bodies and regulatory officials.</li><li>Track changes in Maharashtra real estate laws, RERA regulations, and urban development policies.</li><li>Coordinate with internal legal, project, and finance teams for seamless approvals and compliance.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum 8+ years of experience in Liaisoning for real estate projects in Maharashtra.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, RERA Act, Development Control Regulations (DCR), and municipal approval processes.</li><li>Hands-on experience with land acquisition, NA process, layout approvals, and building permission workflows.</li><li>Well-connected with government authorities and approval departments.</li><li>Excellent documentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Strong communication and coordination skills.</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Experience handling projects in Pune, Mumbai, or other major Maharashtra cities.</li><li>Background in real estate developer or construction company.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Cell phone reimbursement</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Leave encashment</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Current CTC?</li><li>ECTS ?</li></ul>Work Location: In person
