The Social Behavior Change Officer (Temporary Appointment) reports to the SBC Specialist and Team Lead in Sindh for general guidance and technical supervision and in close collaboration with the national and provincial government and partners. Duties and Responsibilities
 
As Guest Relations Officer, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:
 
<ul><li>Responsible for the daily operation of the telephone operators during the shift and administrative work.
</li><li>Answer all inquiries in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest names whenever possible and routing calls to proper extensions.
</li><li>Handle all long distance and local calls and relay message if required.
</li><li>Accept and deliver wake-up calls, messages and facsimiles in a timely manner.
</li><li>Assist in booking and taking requests for reservations for Restaurant, Spa and Kids&rsquo; Club.
</li><li>Ensure proper handover of all outstanding matters for follow-up at the end of the shift.
</li><li>Utilize and ensure proper working condition of the telephone switchboard, guest room telephones and facsimile machines.
</li><li>Ensure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition.
</li><li>Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
</li><li>Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.</li></ul></div>
Qualifications 
To execute the position of Guest Relations Officer, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year experience in a similar hotel operational setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.</li><li>Technical skills include MS Office &ndash; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS, PMS and CRM platforms.</li><li>I have an excellent command of written and spoken English, and I am able to live in a remote location for extended periods of time and travel on single status.</li></ul>

 Performs a variety of law enforcement duties in the preservation of public peace and prevention of crimes, including protecting life and property, enforcing all laws and ordinances, investigating crimes and accidents, making arrests, providing credible testimony in various courts, conducting traffic surveys to determine problem areas, assisting in school and community functions, as well as, public relations activities, and other cases as assigned.

 Police Officer Written Examination
 
 
 
 Applicants who pass the Physical Agilities Test will be scheduled to participate in a written examination the same day, scheduled for
 
 Friday, July 10, 2026, at 130 p.m.
 
 
 
 
 APOST Certification
 
 
 
 Qualified candidates must successfully complete APOST minimum standards, or attain APOST certification, within six months from date of employment with the City of Hoover Police Department. Please do not attach any documents other than cover letters, resumes or military form DD214.
 
 
 Police Officer candidates who meet the minimum requirements and achieve a passing score on the written examination and physical agilities/abilities test will be further screened through our evaluation process, which considers related work experience, education, certifications and special training. Police Officer candidate finalists will then be evaluated based on personal interviews.
