The Campus &amp; Community Resource Manager, operating under general supervision, plays a pivotal role in fostering a supportive environment by connecting students to essential services &amp; community resources. The role involves collaboration with various university offices, programs, and local community services to address students' quality of life and basic needs concerns. The manager ensures compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and The Americans with Disabilities Act and serves as a liaison between students and local/state agencies, facilitating access to services that address a myriad of student social service concerns including economic disadvantages, homelessness, food insecurity, legal issues, medical, safety, and wellness concerns.
A Presidential Proclamation issued on September 19, 2025, imposes a $100,000 fee on all new H‑1B petitions filed after September 21, 2025, and Texas A&amp;M University&ndash;Central Texas will not pay this fee. Additionally, a moratorium issued by Governor Abbott on January 27, 2026, restricts the filing of new H‑1B petitions unless approved by the Texas Workforce Commission. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Supervises the Accommodations &amp; Community Access Coordinator.</li><li>
Ensures requests for accommodations as defined by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are reviewed and assessed. Informs students of their rights, responsibilities, resources, and options.</li><li>
Provides opportunities for awareness of Section 504 requirements for the University.</li><li>
Addresses and seeks resolution of complaints by students, staff, and faculty.</li><li>
Stays current regarding changes in student affairs, disability issues, higher education counseling, and legal issues.</li><li>
Provides assistance with technological needs of the Access &amp; Accommodations Office. Reviews and updates relevant web pages and resources.</li><li>
Prepares and maintains service contracts.</li><li>
Facilitates student access to legal, medical, financial, health, educational, and state support services.</li><li>
Provides oversight of the campus pantry and financial literacy initiatives.</li><li>
Serves as a liaison for Pregnant and Parenting Students as well students formerly or currently in Foster Care.</li><li>
Establishes case files. Tracks and addresses requests for support and accommodations and support, refers students to internal and external services, and assists in removing barriers.</li><li>
Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to engage with the surrounding Greater Killeen communities, city programs, offices, and organizations to exchange ideas, enhance services, and expand TAMUCT community resource relations.</li><li>
Develops and maintains relationships with stakeholders, fostering partnerships across the university to support student needs.</li><li>
Plans, implements, and evaluates programs, activities, events, and initiatives as part of the Continuous Quality Improvement Program.</li><li>
Compiles data and completes monthly reports and institutional effectiveness plans/reports.</li><li>
Conducts annual retention analysis to gauge student success. Assists in the procurement of grants that connect students to resources and support student success.</li><li>
Tracks, documents and reports monthly on program status, student interactions, partnerships and programmatic engagements. Ensures that services are based on written procedures and guidelines.</li><li>
Prepares the annual budget proposals and monitors departmental spending.</li></ul>

Consistently use successful techniques and company directives to screen, hire, orient, and train new personnel.</li><li>

Oversee the consistency and effectiveness of the Assistant Community Manager and Leasing Agent associates&rsquo; use of policies and procedures, including priority wait lists, phone techniques, application verification, and notification.</li><li>
Ensure leasing practices conform to federal, state, and local law. Ensure that credit and criminal reports are obtained for all prospective residents and ensure that company policies and standards regarding income and prior rental history are met.</li><li>
Prepare, process, and sign all leases and related forms or supervise others in doing so.</li><li>
Collect rents and late charges, handle delinquent accounts, or supervise others in doing so.</li><li>
Aggressively pursue lease renewals. Send notices out at least 45 days before expiration.</li><li>
Supervise leasing employees, ensuring good closing techniques.</li><li>
Handle evictions and landlord liens.</li><li>
Maintain all resident files, including move-in sheets, move-out notices, security dispositions, and warnings.</li><li>
Ensure that residents are provided with a clean, safe, and well-maintained community.</li><li>
Ensure that maintenance requests are handled on an immediate one-call basis, if possible, and that residents are notified if parts must be ordered, causing a delay.</li><li>
Maintain the common areas.</li><li>
Ensure the availability of make-ready vacant units.</li><li>
Oversee risk management and emergency procedures.</li><li>
Continually inspect the property and improvements, recording deficiencies and taking the necessary action within budget limits.</li><li>
Maintain key control coding for all units and areas.</li><li>
Handle emergencies. Report accidents and emergency situations to your Regional Community Supervisor immediately and prepare all proper reports. Be available 24 hours/7 days a week unless regional property supervisor has been notified. Monitor parking lot for unauthorized vehicles.</li><li>
Review weekly reports for accuracy and completeness.</li><li>
Supervise outside contractors working on the property.</li><li>
As directed by the Regional Community Supervisor, prepare the property for code inspections, mortgage inspections, and all other inspections.</li><li>
Report to the Regional Community Supervisor any violations of company policy by employees.</li><li>
Develop and enforce community policies and rules.</li></ul>
Requirements:
<ul><li>The position requires a minimum of 3+ years of property management experience.</li><li>
Demonstrate the ability to apply logical thinking principles to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and initiate appropriate courses of action.</li><li>
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively interact with team members, residents, vendors, and other stakeholders.</li><li>

We ensure that our teams have the necessary resources and guidance to successfully execute our vision.Job Summary:The community manager is fully accountable for all property operations. The purpose of your position is to effectively coordinate the development, talent and activities of on-site employees along with available company resources in order to meet your primary objective of increasing revenue and controlling expenses.Role and Responsibilities:&middot; Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times. Consistently maintains a professional and positive attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers and the general public.&middot; Assumes responsibility for supervising staff and managing the property&middot; Inspects property and grounds on a daily basis, coordinating service as needed&middot; Physically inspect units, common areas, and overall property condition as needed&middot; Responsible for office opening on schedule, condition of office and model homes&middot; Ensures that rents are collected and posted in a timely manner&middot; Regularly reviews Accounts Receivable and directs the Assistant Community Manager as needed&middot; Ensures that invoices are entered accurately and timely&middot; Utilizes OPS Technology to facilitate purchase orders&middot; Ability to understand and explain legal documents (i.e. leases and addenda).&middot; Ensures lease files are complete, uploaded to OneSite, and are being executed properly&middot; Ensures updates of all daily activities are entered into OneSite&middot; Participates in annual budgeting process&middot; Participates in monthly financial reviews hosted by top-level management&middot; Maintains up-to-date knowledge of market and competitive properties and provides feedback to top-level management&middot; Regularly communicates with Director of Revenue &amp; Leasing Optimization to increase Net Rental Income&middot; Oversees leasing activity - ensures that follow up standards are being met and appropriate information is being entered into Lead 2 Lease&middot; Provides leasing staff with coaching and training on how to build value and present product&middot; Reviews notices to vacate to determine cause of move-outs.
