Key Responsibilities:</b></p><br>
<ul>
<li>Must meet or exceed Pref-Tech installation standards.</li>
<li>Must complete projects on time and within budget.</li>
<li>Must train and develop his or her team and take ownership of team members&rsquo; morale and welfare.</li>
<li>Must maintain accountability of assigned tools and equipment and keep them in good working order.</li>
<li>Must commit to continuously helping Pref-Tech refine and improve the way the company operates.</li>
<li>Conduct a Project Handover Meeting with the Sales Team to officially assume responsibility of the project.</li>
<li>Obtain a comprehensive understanding of the project&rsquo;s contract documents:
<ul><li>Scope of Work outlined in contract, proposal and/or purchase order</li>
<li>Drawings</li>
<li>Specifications</li>
<li>Invoicing Requirements</li>
<li>Certified Payroll Requirements.</li>
</ul></li><li>Lead a Project Kick-Off Meeting with the customer.</li>
<li>Build the Pre-Construction Submittal Package:
<ul><li>Material Data Sheets</li>
<li>Shop Drawings</li>
<li>Project Schedule</li>
<li>Schedule of Values</li>
<li>Permit Drawings</li>
</ul></li><li>Ensure that the Project Team and Pref-Tech meet all project compliance requirements:
<ul><li>Certificates of Insurance</li>
<li>Safety Requirements</li>
<li>License Requirements.</li>
</ul></li><li>Refine the Bill of Materials, plan purchasing, and issue Purchase Orders to vendors.</li>
<li>Organize the Project Team and refine the installation plan.</li>
<li>Coordinate the installation plan with the Owner, General Contractor, Other Trades, and Subcontractors.</li>
<li>Participate in and oversee the installation.</li>
<li>Conduct regular quality control inspections of the work.</li>
<li>Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.</li>
<li>Educate, train, and retrain Project Team to ensure high standards and continuous development.</li>
<li>Receive change orders, participate in building proposals for the change orders, incorporate approved change orders into the project, and maintain an accurate accounting of all changes.</li>
<li>Identify, write, submit, and track Requests for Information.</li>
<li>Build invoice requests, submit invoice packages to the Accounts Receivable Manager, and ensure accurate and comprehensive invoices go to the customer.</li>
<li>Manage costs throughout the project.</li>
<li>Coordinate software programming effort and training with the Programming Team and Owner.</li>
<li>Conduct pre-testing and final commissioning of projects.</li>
<li>Manage the build-out of the Post-Construction Submittal Package:
<ul><li>As-Built Drawings</li>
<li>Commissioning Sheets</li>
<li>Programming Matrix</li>
<li>Operations and Maintenance Manuals</li>
<li>Warranty Letters.</li>
</ul></li><li>Provide comprehensive status reports on all projects during weekly PM Meetings.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Required Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.</li>
<li>At least 5 years of project management experience, with at least 2 of those years spent managing in the general construction and/or specialty trade contracting industries.</li>
<li>Must be at least 18 years of age.</li>
<li>Must possess a valid TX driver&rsquo;s license, successfully pass an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check, and maintain a clean driving record as a condition of continued use of a company vehicle.</li>
<li>Think critically, reason, and solve problems.</li>
<li>Plan, organize, and manage resources.</li>
<li>Make timely and accurate decisions.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively in oral and written formats.</li>
<li>Mitigate risks and problems and resolve any conflicts that arise.</li>
<li>Motivate team members to accomplish tasks.</li>
<li>Proficiently use MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Visio, Adobe, BlueBeam.</li>
<li>Be a subject matter expert on installing and servicing access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance systems.</li>
<li>Understand the basics of IP networking and IP-based equipment.</li>
<li>Know and enforce Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and requirements.</li>
<li>Obtain and maintain a security license through the Texas Department of Public Safety.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.</li>
<li>PMP or similar project management certification.</li>
<li>Low Voltage industry certifications from ASIS, BICSI, ESA etc.</li></ul><br>

Work Hours &amp; Travel:

Physical Requirements:
</b></p><p>This position is primarily office-based and requires the ability to sit for extended periods, operate a computer and standard office equipment, and communicate effectively in person and electronically. Must have the ability to:</p><br>

<li>Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.</li>
<li>Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and rain.</li>
<li>Capable of ascending and descending ladders (6&ndash;14 feet) and stairs of varying heights with minimal restrictions.</li>
<li>Willingness to work from a bucket truck as required for installations and maintenance.</li></ul><br>
