The Borger Refinery is located in Borger, Texas, in the Texas Panhandle, approximately 50 miles north of Amarillo, Texas. Refinery facilities include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, alkylation, hydrodesulfurization and delayed coking units. The refinery processes primarily medium sour crude oil produced locally, and heavy sour crude oil produced in Canada, all of which are delivered by pipeline. Borger produces a high percentage of transportation fuels, as well as petroleum coke, NGLs and solvents. Refined products are distributed to customers via pipelines from the refinery to West Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and the Midcontinent region.

</b></p><p></p><p>This onsite position will be based out of our Kansas City, Missouri office. This is a 10 Week Intern Program (June 1st &ndash; August 7th). Work schedule: 40 hours/week - Monday &ndash; Friday (8 am &ndash; 5 pm).

We use a mix of cloud-based and on-premise solutions, custom-built applications, and industry-leading software to deliver powerful insights and tools.
</p><p></p><p><b>What You Bring to the Team.
</b></p><ul><li><p>You are currently a junior in an undergraduate program or in your master&rsquo;s program pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related major or focus of study. Expected Graduation date between December 2026 and May 2027.
</p></li><li><p>Effective analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy
</p></li><li><p>Hands on experience using Python, SQL, Data Analytics, Cloud (AWS or Azure), AI/ML and Data Engineering.
