 Responsibilities

 Provide 1st and 2nd, and 3rd tier support to SpaceX employees.

 Manage on site inventory and the total lifecycle of IT assets.

 Procure, configure and deploy computer hardware and mobile cellular devices.

 Role Overview
 
 
 
 The IT Support Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining software, hardware, networks, and IT infrastructure. The role ensures the efficient performance, security, and reliability of systems by monitoring operations, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining IT assets, and supporting employees with day-to-day IT requirements.
 
 
 The position also supports helpdesk activities, system administration, network maintenance, security monitoring, and coordination with the global IT team for issue escalation when required.
 
 
 
 Role &amp; Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Administer servers, laptops, and desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, company mobile phones, software deployment, security updates, and patches
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze, maintain, and implement LAN/WAN equipment and networks
 </li>
 <li>
 Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software, thus ensuring daily monitoring and completion of scheduled jobs
 </li>
 <li>
 Update the inventory database of all IT equipment and software licenses
 </li>
 <li>
 Report issues to the global IT team for escalation
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide employees with IT equipment, email accounts for new joiners, internal transfers, and/or leavers, by setting up employee profiles, passwords, etc
 </li>
 <li>
 Respond to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusion (e.g., hacking, etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Research and recommend an innovative, and when applicable, automated approach for the system
 </li>
 <li>
 Comply with CARMA policies and procedures and support CARMA's mission and vision
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the direct manager
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 BA/BS or Technical Level in Computer Science, CCE, or any relevant field
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role
 </li>
 <li>
 Help Desk experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
 </li>
 <li>
 Relevant Microsoft Certification is preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Good command of English
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of Microsoft (MS) products
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
 </li>
