Quality Control Inspector Pay Range:

Quality Control Inspector Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Inspect structural steel for plumb, level, and elevation per AISC Codes and Standards.</li>
<li>Inspect welding and handling of welding materials for compliance with drawings and governing standards.</li>
<li>Inspect bolted and/or riveted structural connections by fastening materials, faying surfaces, tension, etc.</li>
<li>Assist in the inspection of materials received on the job site.</li>
<li>Assist in the inspection of all phases of steel erection, equipment installation, etc.</li>
<li>Perform on site internal audit to confirm, or establish compliance with AISC, AWS, and company QA/QC Manual.</li>
<li>Ensures compliance of AISC and AWS Standards with company subcontractors.</li>
<li>Work within guidelines provided in company QA/QC Manual and apply codes and standards offered by related governing bodies such as AISC and AWS.</li>
<li>The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.</li>
<li>Perform non-essential functions as needed.</li>

Quality Control Inspector Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High School education or the equivalent is required.
</li><li>Minimum of two years&rsquo; experience in construction industry and/or welding.
</li><li>Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) may be required. Must be proficient in reading and interpreting structural steel drawings.</li>
<li>Must have excellent communication skills.</li>
<li>You must be legally authorized to work in the United States for our company without the need for current or future visa sponsorship. Note: The company does not provide employment visa sponsorship.</li>

Quality Control Inspector Physical Demands:
<ul><li>Must be able to climb to heights more than 300 feet.
