 Responsibilities and duties of the Assistant Project Manager role
 
 
 
 Reporting To The Project Manager You Will
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assist the existing project managers with their daily duties.
 </li>
 <li>
 This is a learning and development role, learning how to be an effective Project Manager on a busy and large-scale construction site. You will have the opportunity to &lsquo;learn on the job&rsquo;.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with managing timelines and budgets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with managing subcontractors and liaising with stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with bids and tendering processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with regular meetings and reporting back progress/ issues to the relevant stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Any other duties that may be required by your manager.

 Professional Qualifications
 
 
 
 We are looking for someone with the following:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 A degree or equivalent in construction management/ project management/ civil engineering or similar. Desirable but not essential.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in construction is desirable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Eligibility for Portsmouth dockyard vetting procedure.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Personal skills
 
 
 The Assistant Project Manager role would suit someone who is:

 <li>
 A strong desire to pursue a career in construction Project Management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to pass drug and alcohol test.
 </li>

 Salary and benefits of the Assistant Project Manager role

 <li>
 Salary of &pound;30,000 &ndash; &pound;45,000 (depending on experience).
 </li>
 <li>
 M-F, 7:30 &ndash; 4:30 between site and office.
 </li>
 <li>
 20 days holiday + bank holidays.
 </li>
 <li>
 Additional holidays rewarded for length of service.
 </li>
