The Loader Operator operates straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor-type vehicle equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage or processing areas.</p><p><br>

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:</b></p>

<li>Starts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel to operate loader. Moves levers to lower and tilt bucket and drives front-end loader forward to force bucket into bulk material. Moves levers to raise and tilt</li>
<li>bucket when filled, drives vehicle to work site, and moves levers to dump material.</li>
<li>Perform assignments outlined by supervisors and standard procedures are followed in the performance of duties. Work is inspected periodically for safety and economy in operation. Performs routine maintenance on loader, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.</li>
<li>Maintain an effective system of communications with supervisors and customers serviced.</li>
<li>Perform Pre-Shift Inspections: Inspect batch plant to ensure a smooth start up for the day</li>
<li>On a daily basis inspect gates to assure proper functionality, all drive belts and conveyor belts, all trough and return rollers.</li>
<li>Responsible for batch plant clean up and Properly store and secure all tools and equipment after use.</li>
<li>Daily inspection of all of the Water/Boiler System and air systems. Follow proper start up and shutdown procedures.</li>
<li>On a weekly basis maintain cleanliness of site by vacuuming batch plant office floor, emptying all trash cans in office, and cleaning bathrooms in plant office.</li>
<li>Ensures on a weekly basis that all areas of the plant are greased and equipped to accept grease.</li>
<li>Inspect all bearings on the batch plant.</li>
<li>On a monthly basis, Inspect Dust Collector to ensure it is in proper operating condition.</li>
<li>On a quarterly basis check oil in all gear boxes and check all drive belts associated with the gear box.</li>
<li>Partake in annual oil change and update all drive belts associated with the gear box.</li></ul><br>

Continue communication with the locator to confirm the location of the drill head.</li><li>
Assist in potholing and remediation.</li><li>
Assist with setting hand holes and completing tie-ins.</li><li>
Assist with the installation of proper pulling gear and hook-up product.</li><li>
Conduct post-job quality checks.</li><li>
All responsibilities will be performed in standard and high-risk areas.</li><li>
If appropriately licensed and authorized, drive or operate construction equipment used on the Jobsite to complete daily work assignments.</li><li>
Maintain, clean, and inspect company vehicles and equipment assigned for use to ensure they are performing at optimum safety.</li><li>
Perform required pre-and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment and complete required paperwork</li><li>
Complies with safety procedures while driving and at the job site.</li><li>
Perform other general duties, as directed.</li></ul><p><b>
Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>
Ability to comply with the &ldquo;Operator&rsquo;s Manual&rdquo; for equipment and vehicles used.</li><li>
Ability to understand and follow all quality/safety policies and procedures.</li><li>
Must possess and maintain a valid Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License (CDL Class A) with a satisfactory driving record.</li><li>
Self-motivated, safe, quality, and production-minded.</li><li>
Ability to work and communicate as part of a team with ground hands, and other craft and labor workers.</li><li>
Ability to manage time effectively.</li><li>
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.</li><li>
Ability to travel for remote business requirements within Oregon, Idaho, and Washington.</li><li>
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
Must be at least 18 years of age.</li><li>

At least 1 year of directional drilling experience.</li><li>

Physical Demands and Working Environment:</b></p><ul><li>
Lift moderately heavy equipment, such as telephone line; climb structures; and stand for long periods of time.</li><li>
Ability to work in a confined space and at high elevations (poles, hydraulic lift buckets, ladders.</li><li>
Climb up and down poles, ladders, machinery, and other objects.</li><li>
Push, pull, reach, and carry objects such as tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.</li><li>
Load and unload tools and equipment on the truck.</li><li>
Coordinate movement of eyes, hands, fingers, and feet.</li><li>
Vision including depth perception, close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.</li><li>
All work is performed at remote locations; driving and sitting are required.</li><li>
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions &ndash; heat, cold snow, ice, rain, etc.</li><li>
Ability to work long hours, if needed.</li><li>
