About the role
As a Back Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operation of the back ash area and associated equipment within Reworld&rsquo;s industrial disposal process. This role combines equipment monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance, and daily operational support to ensure reliable facility performance.
Position Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform daily walkdowns of the back ash area, inspecting conveyors, belts, rollers, separators, and related equipment for defects or abnormal conditions</li><li>Monitor equipment performance, including speeds, alignment, ash buildup, and overall system cleanliness</li><li>Conduct routine preventive maintenance and assist with corrective maintenance tasks throughout the day</li><li>Participate in the daily morning kickoff meeting (20&ndash;30 minutes) with the maintenance team to review the day&rsquo;s work plan</li><li>Support scheduled system shutdowns to complete repairs safely and efficiently</li><li>Operate industrial equipment, including front-end loaders (experience preferred)</li><li>Utilize weekly activity books and critical items checklists to complete inspections and document equipment status</li><li>Safely perform lock-out/tag-out procedures in support of maintenance activities</li><li>Report equipment issues and submit repair requests using established work order processes</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment in the back ash area</li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations</li></ul>
