About the Role
At Pacific Construction, the Estimating Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the estimating and preconstruction process from opportunity tracking through bid submission. Position Overview
Assists the Project Manager and Project Superintendent in providing the overall administrative and technical direction of a project.
Duties/Responsibilities<ul><li>
Manages and processes project information, requests for information, and design team responses.</li><li>
Processes shop drawings, product data.</li><li>
Leads the material procurement process.</li><li>
Assists with subcontract and purchase order development.</li><li>
Participates in quality control.</li><li>
Expedites distribution of documents to all involved parties.</li><li>
Maintains official project logs and documentation files.</li><li>
Manages project close out.</li><li>
Team member of the Safety Leadership Engagement Program.</li></ul>
Education and Training<ul><li>
Four-year degree in construction, engineering, or related field.</li><li>
Minimum of two semesters interning in the commercial construction industry with progressively demanding duties.</li></ul>
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities<ul><li>
Basic understanding of construction practices, standards, and their impact on project activities.</li><li>
Basic leadership and supervisory skills.</li><li>
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Excellent organizational and planning skills.</li><li>
