The Construction Quality Manager is responsible for leadership, direction, management and the execution of the Construction Design-Build Quality Program for projects in various locations. The Construction Quality Manager develops guidance that confirms installations comply with the applicable plans, codes, standards, specifications and construction practices, including the timely completion and collection of inspection and test reports as required.
<ul><li>Develop and issue the Construction Quality Plan based on project-specific specifications, codes and jurisdictional requirements.</li>
<li>Communicate plan requirements to the project management team.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the project management team on the set-up and implementation of key quality processes and application methods.</li>
<li>Responsible for coaching, training and mentoring field quality personnel with regards to the Construction Quality Management System including quality verifications required to comply with the specifications.</li>
<li>Responsible for recommending enhancements and changes to the Construction Quality Management System.</li>
<li>Confirm conditions adverse to quality are identified, documented, disposition and tracked through acceptance and closure.</li>
<li>Support the Corrective Action resolution process.</li>
<li>Review and confirm compliance of subcontractor quality submittals and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's).</li>
<li>Proactively communicate project-specific quality improvement opportunities to the project management team.</li>
<li>Support project sites in confirming quality metrics are consistently tracked and reported.</li>
<li>Assist the project team with set-up and scheduling of Nondestructive Examination and heat treatment activities.</li>
<li>Confirm the Construction Quality Plan aligns with turnover requirements identified in the project contract documents.</li>
<li>Act as a liaison between the Project Manager and the Authorized Inspector for Code work scopes.</li>
<li>Perform site assessments and audits to confirm compliance with the implemented Construction Quality Management System.</li>
<li>Comply with all Safety &amp; Health requirements and monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to safety standards.</li>
<li>Participate in the Task Safety Observations (TSO's) process and define corrective measures for problem areas.</li>
<li>Provide oversight, guidance, and support for project teams on the development and execution of quality processes.</li>
<li>Provide oversight and guidance to project site quality personnel.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>

The QC Technician works with production to ensure our products meet customer specifications and reports the results to the management team and road construction crews. 
On the job training will provide the employee the specific knowledge to obtain a Company sponsored Quality Control Technician Certification from the Department of Transportation. 
This is a full-time seasonal, year-round benefits eligible position, working April/May through November. This position requires working overtime and some Saturdays. 
Regional travel may be required, and workload may require further distances under unique circumstances. Qualified overnight stay will be compensated with per diem reimbursements.
