The Consultant Pediatric Dentist provides specialized dental care for children and adolescents. Key responsibilities include:<ul><li>Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care, including examination, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment, in accordance with DOH regulations and approved clinical scope of practice.</li><li>Perform pediatric dental procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and effective anxiety management using child-friendly techniques.</li><li>Monitor dental growth and development and identify the need for orthodontic or specialist referrals.</li><li>Educate children and their families on oral hygiene, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle practices.</li><li>Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with DOH and facility policies.</li><li>Adhere to infection control, patient safety, quality assurance, and risk management standards.</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.</li><li>Participate in continuous professional development, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.</li><li>Ensure compliance with DOH laws, regulations, and facility policies at all times.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements<ul><li>Consultant Pediatric Dentist licensed by DOH Abu Dhabi (or eligible for DOH Consultant licensure).</li><li>Recognized Specialty/Consultant qualification in Pediatric Dentistry as per DOH PQR.</li><li>Minimum required post-specialization experience in pediatric dentistry (as per DOH standards).</li><li>Strong knowledge of pediatric dental procedures, infection control, and patient safety practices.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and families.</li><li>Commitment to ethical practice, continuous education, and high-quality patient care</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
