The Consumer Loan Specialist plays a key role in supporting members on their financial journey by providing knowledgeable and responsive service. Core Contributions

<li>Serve as a key point of contact within an inbound call center environment, responding promptly to Consumer Loan inquiries via the Five9 platform in accordance with established service level objectives. Ensure a high-quality, personalized member experience through effective communication and timely follow-up.</li>
<li>Perform in-depth consultative assessments to identify and evaluate member needs, delivering tailored solutions aligned with their financial goals. Clearly communicate available programs and processes, setting accurate expectations to ensure a transparent and informed member experience.</li>

<li>Comply with all aspects of Bank Secrecy ACT (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) regulatory requirements as it relates to this position.</li>

Essential Functions:

Job Description: 
At Regions, the Credit Products Commercial Loan Fulfillment Specialist will orchestrate the closing process for all members of the Relationship Team and vendors associated with each loan. The closing process entails providing assistance by completing, collecting, and analyzing documents necessary for the extension of credit, booking the loan, resolving documentation exceptions post-closing, and interacting with borrowers, outside counsel, bank associates, and a variety of third parties.

We are seeking a Collections Specialist to manage our expanding portfolio of consumer and commercial loans.The PositionAs a Collections Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing groups of loans, ensuring that payments remain on track, negotiating payoffs, and working with customers to bring delinquent accounts current. Each day presents new challenges, and you will have the autonomy to think strategically and craft creative solutions to complex financial situations.Your Responsibilities:&middot; Monitor loan accounts to ensure timely payments.&middot; Engage with customers through phone, email, and mail to resolve payment issues.&middot; Analyze customer situations and finances to offer tailored solutions.&middot; Negotiate and create repayment strategies that benefit both the company and the customer.&middot; Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations while maintaining ethical collection practices.&middot; Engage with lawyers in contract litigation and legal proceedings.&middot; Travel to court nationwide may be required as part of case management.Requirements:&middot; High school diploma or further education.&middot; Ability to pass FDCPA certification course upon hiring.&middot; Proficiency in operating a computer and basic software systems, with a strong preference for intermediate to advanced users of Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook.&middot; Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.&middot; Excellent communication skills&middot; Ability to multi-task efficiently and maintain organized documentation.&middot; Ability to perform under high levels of stress while maintaining a positive attitude.&middot; Ability to pass a background check.What We Offer:&middot; Competitive pay based on experience, starting at $25/hr with annual performance-based bonuses.&middot; Full-time, on-site role (40 hours/week) - Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
