Job Summary: 
We&rsquo;re looking for a data‑driven and audience-focused Content Specialist to join our SEO &amp; Content Marketing team. The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for creating and managing online content to optimize Zurn Elkay&rsquo;s digital platforms to enhance our web properties and brand presence, and drive sales. This role requires technical proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS), strong understanding of on-page SEO content of all varieties and a passion for UX continuous optimization/improvement. This position requires proactive cross-functional communication for initiatives across the Marketing, Sales and Brand teams, and requires very strong writing/editing skills.
Key Responsibilites
Digital Content Creation<ul><li>
Proactively seeks out weak/outdated/underdeveloped content areas on web properties and fortifies following brand, UX &amp; SEO best practices</li><li>
Assesses competitor digital content to inform our positioning and areas of opportunity</li><li>
Authors new &amp; optimizes existing website digital content inclusive of content pages across all web properties (landing pages, category pages, etc.) on through CMS (AEM)</li><li>
Reviews website feedback and proactively advises on content to be created or improved upon</li><li>
Partners with Digital Product Owner on content required to support new feature deployment</li><li>
Partners with SEO Specialist for guidance on keywords and best practices for on-page content writing</li><li>
Partners with Product Marketers for content ideas and nature/accuracy of written content</li><li>
Partners with Channel team to disseminate completed work for amplification through channels</li><li>
Partners closely with external SEO team for strategy on off-site SEO</li><li>
Assists with being a brand ambassador to external partners and link exchanging/backlink acquisition</li><li>
Spearheads continued development of &ldquo;Help Center&rdquo; sections on web properties</li></ul>
Federated Search<ul><li>
Primary Administrator of unified search platform</li><li>
Works with business partners to establish appropriate product presence and sequence in search</li><li>
Implements keyword and regional token strategies via search platform to ensure that products are accessible as possible</li></ul>
SEO &amp; Web Analytics<ul><li>
Develop and monitor KPIs to understand performance and impact of onsite and offsite digital content initiatives</li><li>
Organic Traffic Growth YoY %</li><li>
Domain Authority % and Ranking vs Competition</li><li>
Backlink Growth</li><li>
Implement continuous improvement strategies to improve KPI's</li></ul>
Requirments<ul><li>
Bachelors Degree</li><li>
Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in content creation, digital marketing, product marketing, social media, UX writing, and/or brand engagement, preferably for a national or global B2B brand.</li><li>
Strong demonstrated writing, editing, and proofreading skills.</li><li>
Experience in content planning and audience segmentation.</li><li>
Direct experience working with Content Management Systems (we use Adobe Experience Manager, but experience with other CMS will be sufficient)</li><li>
Working knowledge of content performance tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Lumar, Microsoft Clarity, etc.</li><li>
Familiarity with A.I. as it relates to web content and web search is a major plus</li><li>
Basic digitally optimized graphic design skills is a plus</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
