Job Purpose 
Support efforts to create a variety of integrated fundraising initiatives, as well as informative and inspiring messages that promote the mission, priorities, and values of Wayne State University. Develop partnerships with university leaders, fundraising professionals and faculty to gain an understanding of impactful projects and programs throughout the university, develop pathways to funding, and articulate their relevance to the university's mission, through high-quality written case statements, proposals, and other fundraising materials. Essential Functions

Support the development of written and designed materials for principal and major gift fundraising, including case statements, proposals, executive summaries, special letters, briefing materials, reports, and white papers.
Partner with university leadership, development professionals, university faculty, and staff to identify projects and programs for fundraising initiatives, from dean-approved and faculty-led projects to university-wide strategic initiatives. Develop associated materials.
Support and create comprehensive campaign and fundraising materials for the university and for each school and college in collaboration with university and division leadership. Support work to identify communication strategies for fundraising initiatives within comprehensive and micro-campaigns.
Strategize with frontline fundraisers in the units as well as division leadership, University-wide Philanthropy, Donor Experience, and others to develop unified language and materials that help achieve fundraising goals.
Partner with division colleagues to develop and support their content creation as needed, including but not limited to Annual Giving, Donor Experience, University-wide Philanthropy and Planned Giving.
Assist team with copyediting and proofreading.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
 Education: Bachelor's degree
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in English, communications, marketing, or journalism. Master&rsquo;s degree preferred.
Experience: Intermediate (3 to 4 years job-related experience)
At least three years professional writing experience within advancement or fundraising communications for a college, university or nonprofit preferred.
Strong research, interviewing, writing, and editing skills with demonstrated proofreading skills.
Strong knowledge and understanding of fundraising and stewardship processes and communications.
Experience in a higher education fundraising environment preferred.

The selected candidate will work closely with the company's executives and existing social media team to help build a strong, consistent, and high-impact digital presence.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Content Strategy &amp; Roadmap: Develop and execute a clear, long-term social media and content strategy aligned with the company&rsquo;s brand and business goals.</li><li>Executive Personal Branding: Plan and guide content for company executives, ensuring a consistent and professional personal brand across social platforms.</li><li>Content Direction: Identify content opportunities, develop ideas, and guide the team on what should be filmed, how it should be presented, and what content formats should be prioritized.</li><li>Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate the existing Social Media Handler/Scheduler and Video Editor, ensuring content is produced, edited, scheduled, and published according to the planned strategy.</li><li>Content Capture: Coordinate and, when required, capture high-quality behind-the-scenes footage, site visits, architecture, construction, and executive content for post-production.</li><li>Daily Workflow Management: Maintain smooth communication between the executive, content team, editor, and scheduler to ensure consistent content output.</li><li>Content Calendar: Create and maintain organized weekly and monthly content calendars, campaigns, and content plans.</li><li>Trend &amp; Platform Strategy: Stay updated with current trends and platform best practices across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, while identifying which trends are relevant to the brand.</li><li>Analytics &amp; Optimization: Regularly review social media insights and performance data to understand what is working and continuously improve the content strategy.</li><li>Brand Positioning: Help strengthen Pavilion Design Consultants&rsquo; position as a recognized authority in architecture, design, construction, and real estate through strategic content.</li><li>Performance Reporting: Track key performance indicators and provide regular reports and recommendations to management.</li><li>Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Advertising, Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, or a related field from a reputable university. Graduates from institutions such as NCA, LUMS, Beaconhouse National University (BNU) or other recognized universities will be preferred.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>0-1 year of relevant experience in social media management, content strategy, digital marketing, personal branding, or brand management.</li><li>Proven understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.</li><li>Strong understanding of content strategy, social media growth, and personal branding.</li><li>Ability to lead and coordinate a small creative team.</li><li>Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and multitasking skills.</li><li>Strong understanding of current social media trends and content formats.</li><li>Comfortable working with tools such as Meta Business Suite, CapCut, Adobe tools, Google Workspace, and other relevant platforms.</li><li>Ability to analyze social media insights and make data-driven content decisions.</li><li>A creative mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for engaging and high-performing content.</li></ul>Important Note:This is not a routine posting or video editing position.
