Overview:

The <b>Senior Proposals Specialist</b> is responsible for supporting proposal and contract development; and promoting CB&amp;I Storage Solutions&rsquo; products and services. This position is a senior professional, individual contributor contract development role requiring fundamental knowledge of CB&amp;I Storage Solutions markets, products, clients, and customers. The role directly reports to the regional business development lead and routinely interacts with the regional operation leads.</div><div><br>
</div>Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Senior individual contributor responsible for new business proposals and contracts for a sub-region or a single country</li><li>
Identifies and mitigates the risk involved with commercial terms and conditions, contract structure and pricing, interfacing with the Legal and Finance Departments, as appropriate</li><li>
Maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool and keep all information accurate and current</li><li>
Outline, write, edit and organize proposal documents, while also making timely edits and revisions to documents after reviews</li><li>
Work closely with Legal and other corporate teams to provide and ensure comprehensive input</li><li>
Work with the project bid team to ensure that the company liabilities and legal obligations are contractually defined</li><li>
Review invitation to bid documents in conjunction with other applicable corporate departments
</li><li>Ensure that submitted proposals fully address all Commercial, Legal and Taxation matters
</li><li>Ensure there is a clearly defined Commercial execution strategy for all proposals submitted
</li><li>Review scope of &ldquo;invitation to bid documents&rdquo; for proposals and recommend to the Business Development Specialist/Manager the optimum split of work into packages, considering the geographical location, capability, and track record of local contractors, etc.</li><li>
Identify in conjunction with Legal, the obligations in the contract that are either obligatory flow downs or those which may be required to flow down and advise Subcontract Manager</li><li>
Review commercial issues related to working in new territories and locations or with new clients; and provide advice and support to the team</li><li>
Ensure all projects have in place at award, a commercial baseline and contract summary documentation</li><li>
Provide input to the project control and accounting procedures, processes and systems</li><li>
Ensure Risk Management, Project Controls and value improvement processes are fully and uniformly deployed and managed in accordance with procedure throughout the duration of the contract.</li><li>
Ensure the best commercial interests of the company are maintained, through policing of the contract</li><li>
Ensuring all deviations from standard Terms &amp; Conditions are properly evaluated, mitigated and approved by the responsible functions</li><li>
Prepares regional frame agreements</li></ul>
Local Requirements:
<ul><li>Preference to have experience in preparing proposal for various storage solutions (atmospheric tanks, low temp &amp; cryogenic tanks, pressure vessels (e.g. spheres) and storage terminal works.</li><li>
Preference to have experience and/or familiar with regional requirements (i.e. working conditions, prevailing laws) in Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia Pacific and Australia.</li><li>
Knowledge/experience with Energy Transition is a plus.</li></ul><br>
