 ROLE PURPOSE
 
 
 
 To manage the maintenance, service, calibration, overhauling and repair of instruments as per standard procedures to ensure instruments are in good working condition and to manage the preventive and breakdown maintenance of instrumentation &amp; control panels in compliance with the Work Order system, in order to ensure minimal downtime.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 1.Strategy Development
 
 
 
 Contribute to the development of sectional strategy as cascaded down from the departmental strategy and oversee its implementation throughout the section and its operations, to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies across Marafiq.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 2.People Management
 
 
 
 Manage the section team of direct and indirect reports through effective recruitment, development, performance management, and succession planning, in order to maximize team performance and achieve sectional objectives.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 3.Operational Management
 
 
 
 Manage the section&rsquo;s daily operations by providing expertise, enabling teamwork, and aligning processes, in order to achieve high performance standards and meet established targets.
 
 
 Prepare, maintain, and improve standing and work instructions in own area of responsibility.
 
 
 Examine the time sheet and arrange and look over the overtime works in the C&amp;l section to ensure their necessity.
 
 
 Assist in checking the Vendors&rsquo; Quotation Evaluation prior to the initiation of the purchase orders.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 4.Budget Management
 
 
 
 Contribute to the development and consolidation of the sectional budget and monitor the section&rsquo;s financial performance versus the budget, to ensure the exercising of financial authority within established limits and the control of sectional budget expenditure.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 5.Overseeing Execution of Actions
 
 
 
 Manage Control and Instrument maintenance work planning, testing, troubleshooting the process automation and supervision of non-process related maintenance works as well as the administration of office according to Maintenance Manager guidelines.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 6.Maintenance &amp; Supervision
 
 
 
 Supervise the implementation of the Corrective Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance and Relocation/Installation of C&amp;I equipment.
 
 
 Supervise and maintain the calibration process of instruments and metering system according to the regulation and guidelines of Management.
 
 
 Supervise and maintain the office IT equipment including HW/SW as well as communication system, FESTL Computer System Administration and supervision of IT services provided by the IT service provider.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 7.Review &amp; Assessment
 
 
 
 Follow-up, review, assess, and develop the Operation Readiness Plan (ORP) and the Business Management System (BMS).
 
 
 Check the feedback received regarding the Maintenance Management System and provide feedback to the related stakeholders.
 
 
 Ensure the required information is being filled in the Work Order system through service reports to ensure the maintenance of an updated system at all time.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 8.Forecasting Resources
 
 
 
 Forecast and procure spare parts, tools, services and other resources at Power Station in own area of responsibility against the annual budget.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 9.Inspections &amp; Testing
 
 
 
 Supervise and perform standard tests such as signal testing, flashing line, visual checking, function test &amp; retightening action to repair or replace parts as needed, in order to ensure that the C&amp;I panels are operating properly according to established specifications in coordination with Operations.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 10.Policies &amp; Procedures
 
 
 
 Contribute to the development and manage the communication and implementation of the section&rsquo;s policies and procedures to ensure that all relevant procedural and legislative requirements are clearly communicated and duly fulfilled.
