 The Paramount+ Creative Marketing Team seeks a Sports Copywriter to write, proofread and edit various assets that position Paramount+ as a leader in premium sports content with various audiences.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:

 Craft text copy for marquees and show pages.

 The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. The total target base compensation for this role will be between $75,000 and $100,000 per year at the commencement of employment. In addition to base compensation, this role also offers a performance bonus. The expected total cash compensation range, including potential bonus, will be between $82,000 and $116,000 per year. Email Marketing<ul><li>Own the email content calendar and lifecycle campaign strategy</li><li>Develop weekly campaign briefs, messaging direction, segmentation strategy, and offer positioning</li><li>Lead lifecycle flow strategy (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, winback, etc.) and identify opportunities for optimization</li><li>Create structured quarterly testing roadmap (subject lines, segmentation, timing, creative angles, offers)</li><li>Manage and direct our email design agency &mdash; ensuring clear briefs, strong creative direction, on-brand messaging, and timely execution</li><li>Review and edit agency copy to ensure it reflects our brand voice and resonates deeply with our core customer</li><li>Serve as verbal and strategic gatekeeper in collaboration with the Creative Director</li><li>Analyze performance data and provide structured insights and recommendations</li></ul>
SMS Marketing<ul><li>Own execution of SMS campaigns and flows</li><li>Support list growth and lead capture optimization</li><li>Contribute to ongoing testing and performance improvements</li><li>Align SMS messaging with email campaigns and overall lifecycle strategy</li><li>Help implement personalization and automation improvements</li></ul>
Push &amp; Direct Mail<ul><li>Manage push notification scheduling and alignment with campaigns</li><li>Support direct mail lifecycle initiatives to improve repeat purchase</li></ul>
Data, Reporting &amp; Retention Growth<ul><li>Monitor LTV and repeat purchase performance</li><li>Contribute to improving RFM segmentation over time</li><li>Analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities for optimization</li><li>Participate in weekly (transitioning to bi-weekly) lifecycle performance reviews</li><li>Gradually take on increased ownership of retention insights and strategy</li></ul>

Compensation &amp; Benefits
This role offers a base salary of $100,000&ndash;$110,000, commensurate with experience.
In addition, this position is eligible for a performance-based bonus tied to retention and lifecycle growth goals, with an on-target bonus range of 5&ndash;15% of base salary.
