What does </b><b>a </b><b>Proofreader do at WPP Production?</b></p>
<p>
This is a second shift position working hours will be 11:0AM - 7:00PM EST.</p>
<p>
Proofreads a high volume of marketing materials and brand communications, including product packaging, in-store signage for retail and channel partners, e-commerce, and brand guidelines. Works closely with editors and the legal, production, and project marketing teams to ensure accuracy and integrity across all deliverables.</p>
<p><b>
Key Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Ensuring brand quality and consistency across thousands of print and digital mechanicals distributed to global partners</li>
<li>Proofreading marketing collateral, such as comparison signs, collections signs, product pages, features pages, and marketing guides</li>
<li>Dedication to brand excellence and to maintaining the highest level of quality and confidentiality</li>
<li>Ability to check specs beyond grammar sharing some QA/QC responsibilities</li>
<li>Work within Adobe Acrobat or other linked pending review</li>
<li>Be the keeper on brand guidelines for major national and global brands</li>
<li>Precise proofreading for all deliverables in a timely manner</li>
<li>Communicate with offshore teams and PMs to transfer work through design, proofreading, QA and delivery</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Requirements:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>A minimum of 4 years' experience in editing, copyediting, and/or proofreading marketing, advertising and technical materials at a publication, design firm, corporate marketing communications department, or ad agency, preferably for a creative or consumer brand</li>
<li>Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work diplomatically in a dynamic, confidential studio environment</li>
<li>Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to focus, prioritize, and pivot in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Experience working for global brands</li>
<li>Ability to work with offshore QA teams</li>
<li>An understanding of the production process and of brand channel, retail, interactive, and packaging practices</li>
<li>Strong organizational and time management skills to handle concurrent projects, track milestones, manage active deadlines, advance deliverables, and find solutions to daily challenges</li>
<li>Able to navigate complex processes and tools, including a specialized ticketing system to edit and route deliverables</li>
<li>Flexible during high-volume periods (longer hours and weekends) and able to adapt and assimilate immediately if called on to work for a few hours within an environment of constant change, simultaneous projects, and shifting priorities and timelines</li>
<li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop, Fido, and iWork</li>

OVERVIEW</b></p>
<p>
This is a freelance role with potential to convert to a full-time position after a 6-month engagement. The Associate Branded Content Writer's main responsibility will be writing compelling, engaging, and entertaining advertising content with a strong focus on podcast and audio formats. As our audio advertising channel continues to scale, this person will play a critical role in supporting host-read ad development across our growing podcast portfolio.</p>
<p>
While your primary focus is podcast and audio ad content, you'll also contribute to campaigns across Morning Brew Inc.'s portfolio, including The Morning Brew Daily newsletter, Tech Brew, Retail Brew, Marketing Brew, IT Brew, CFO Brew, HR Brew, Healthcare Brew, Revenue Brew, and more. You will contribute to campaigns composed of a wide range of ad products, including newsletter placements, branded articles, interactive content, podcast ad reads, social video captions, and more.</p>

WHAT YOU'LL DO</b></p>
<ul>
<li><p>Support host-read podcast ad script development across our podcast portfolio</p>
</li>
<li><p>Translate partner briefs and assets into 35&ndash;150 word advertorials (newsletter ads, targeted emails, etc.) on a daily basis for B2B and B2C partners</p>
</li>
<li><p>Partner with multimedia stakeholders as podcast inventory grows</p>
</li>
<li><p>Work with clients to produce long-form articles, interactives, or guides when needed</p>
</li>
<li><p>Partner closely with Account Management, Creative Strategy, and clients to understand goals and translate them into content that performs:</p>
</li>
</ul><ul><li><p>Intake and internalize the larger marketing goals of our clients while balancing and advocating for what will resonate most with the Morning Brew Inc. audience</p>

</ul><ul><li><p>Process, negotiate, and implement creative feedback from brand partners</p>

<li><p>Audit, understand, and act on data from our Insights &amp; Analytics team to inform what we say and how we say it, all while keeping partner goals and standards top of mind</p>

<li><p>1&ndash;2+ years of professional creative writing, copywriting, and/or content/marketing experience &mdash; a portfolio that showcases your work is a major plus</p>

<li><p>Expert command of the English language and use of voice &mdash; we're looking for a wordsmith in the truest sense</p>
