Located in Cummings Research Park in Huntsville, Alabama, one of the world's leading science and technology parks, HudsonAlpha's campus contains state-of-the-art laboratories for biological research and development, as well as education, in the areas of genomics, genetics and personalized medicine.</p><p><br>
</p><p><b>DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW</b></p><p>
The Finance Department manages all aspects of the financial operation of the Institute, including accounts payable and receivable, recordkeeping and reporting, and audit responses, all within applicable regulations. The department also oversees financial reporting for the HudsonAlpha Foundation and all financial aspects of shared services, including cost centers and purchasing. The department handles many aspects of vendor relations such as contracting and negotiating.

</li><li>Product lab testing - Liaison with supplier and testing labs (Intertek, SGS, BV) for all furniture products testing Ensure that inhouse inspection is done for New product and report is shared with the Category Buyer
</li><li>Third party inspection/Smart fortune/Ascent furniture - To provide approval to inspection report for sample inspection, pre-production sample, mass production and inspection certificate
</li><li>Work closely with warehouse team to resolve customer complaint related to technical issues
</li><li>Work closely with finance team to validate monthly claims summary and loose component for all location
</li><li>Store visit to monitor and get store feedback on product quality, assembly issue and packing issue
</li><li>Debugging and supporting Corporate supply chain team for any furniture issue raised in weekly SOH
