Seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR professional to lead people and culture initiatives for over 1,000 employees across multiple locations in multiple states. This role will serve as the primary HR representative for the company&rsquo;s Daves Hot Chicken locations and will be a thought partner for the Director of Operations on all people needs. This role is scrappy and hands-on, with the ability to flex and work both tactically and strategically. The ideal candidate will support the Director of Operations and execute whatever the business needs to ensure successful operations, wearing many hats as a &ldquo;people expert&rdquo; in the business. This person must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. They must also possess strong communication and relationship-building abilities, along with the ability to work well cross-functionally and partner with other parts of the business on important tasks/projects.
What You&rsquo;ll Do: The HRBP is responsible for completing traditional HRBP and HR Generalist duties for their line of business, in addition to supporting other people and culture-related work. They partner with the Director of Operations to support the business goals, and partner with the rest of the Restaurant Support Center team on initiatives as needed. Essential functions:<ul><li>
Assist with HR administration, such as processing actions in the HRIS, supporting workers&rsquo; compensation and unemployment claims with relevant information, and assisting with employee correspondence.</li><li>
Manage employee relations, including investigations, employee questions, and employee complaints.</li><li>
Provide expertise in talent management via talent partnership designing, driving, and embedding processes in the organization and monitoring the state of talent. As a Human Resources Business Advisor, Executive Director supporting Wealth Management, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders at varying levels of the organization to execute strategic priorities set by senior leaders. Additionally, you will provide support to senior managers to bring resolution on core Human Resources activities and initiatives. This role offers high visibility across the organization and the chance to work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders and senior leaders.
Job Responsibilities:<ul>
<li>Partner with business leaders to establish a people agenda and support the implementation of related initiatives, activities, and efforts for your aligned lines of business.</li>
<li>Maintain the performance and talent management cycle by partnering with leaders on an as-needed basis to handle succession planning needs and requirements, answer performance questions, issues, and processes, and provide guidance on the promotion process.</li>
<li>Support the year-end compensation process by ensuring that baselines are accurate and synchronized with finance and/or business management, providing guidance on incentive compensation and salary planning, and supporting managers through compensation decisions.</li>
<li>Engage in employee listening/feedback initiatives, such as action plans based on Employee Opinion Surveys.</li>
<li>Participate in individualized development and coaching to managers and emerging leaders, as needed, and in partnership with the talent team.</li>
<li>Advise business leadership and cascade the structuring and re-organizational changes deeper into Line of Business areas to institutionalize the new organization into BAU.</li></ul>
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:<ul>
<li>Proven ability to interact with business leaders at all levels and influence employee-related decision-making.</li>
<li>Project management abilities, including execution skills and end-to-end process improvement.</li>
<li>Ability to utilize critical thinking and analytical skills to identify issues and trends, develop solutions, and address root causes.</li>
<li>Able to operate in a highly matrixed environment and across all levels of the organization.</li>
<li>Solid relationship management skills and ability to navigate across the function and the firm.</li>
<li>Exceptional communication skills; written and verbal, able to present and articulate ideas to the business and HR colleagues.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based culture and leverage a matrixed organization to problem solve, design, and execute people priorities.</li>
<li>Ability to implement change across multiple stakeholders and within the HR Business Advisor team.</li>
<li>Comfort partnering with employee relations and HR legal on complex and often time-sensitive employee matters.</li>
<li>10+ years of Human Resources experience required.</li>
<li>Technically proficient in MS Office Suite &ndash; including Excel and PowerPoint.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills<ul>
<li>Previous Human Resource Business Advisor experience advising senior leadership is a plus.</li></ul>
