Job Summary and Qualifications</h5>
The Corporate Employee Relations Director, based in HCA Healthcare&rsquo;s Nashville corporate office, serves as a key HR leader dedicated to fostering positive employee relations and supporting the organization&rsquo;s employee relations, engagement, retention, and overall human resources strategy. This role is instrumental in driving execution of the Labor &amp; Employee Relations strategic agenda by acting as a trusted advisor to operational leaders, offering guidance on a broad spectrum of labor and employee relations matters. The Director is responsible for leading execution of our strategic initiatives and projects at an enterprise level; developing and delivering training programs; building leader capability in communications, support, recognition, and other key areas; overseeing complex or sensitive internal investigations; and serving as an overall subject matter expert on the organization&rsquo;s Labor &amp; Employee Relations strategy. In addition, the Director may oversee other Labor &amp; Employee Relations professionals, either permanently or temporarily, providing leadership and direction to ensure the advancement of our organization&rsquo;s goals.
Major Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Lead and advise executive leaders on a strategic approach to employee relations, engagement, and retention. Conduct thorough assessments of employee relations programs, HR practices, and workplace culture. Lead focus groups, analyze feedback, and develop actionable recommendations to strengthen employee engagement and organizational culture.
</li><li>Proactively identify locations or departments with elevated employee relations, engagement, or retention risks by analyzing workforce trends, organizational practices, cultural or key performance indicators, and feedback gathered through established relationships with leadership. Recommend targeted actions to address concerns and strengthen overall workforce engagement and retention.
</li><li>Assist in the design, delivery, and facilitation of training programs for leaders at all levels, ensuring management is well-prepared to promote positive employee relations that improves engagement and retention, including employee relations best practices, policy and legal compliance, etc.
</li><li>Lead and execute projects that implement the employee relations strategy. Develop action plans, oversee implementation, and track progress to ensure measurable outcomes. Effectively perform both as an individual project owner as well as a program lead with responsibility for guiding multiple project owners within the Labor &amp; Employee Relations portfolio.
</li><li>Effectively communicate with executive leadership at corporate and local levels, including presenting findings, recommendations, and strategic initiatives to support the labor and employee relations strategies within their areas of responsibility. As a trusted advisor, influence and secure support for initiatives that advance positive employee relations.
</li><li>Manage the centralized adjudications of background investigations, sanctions checks, and other onboarding prerequisites and advise other business leaders as a subject matter expert.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations is a key member of the Development team and supports Bridge&rsquo;s annual revenue goals by leading all corporate fundraising and partnership development, as well as overseeing annual fund foundation grants, including submissions, reporting, research, and stewardship. The Manager supervises the part-time Grant Writer and works closely with Program staff and the Communications team to ensure strong proposal content, timely reporting, and consistent donor engagement.
The Manager develops and executes the annual business plan and multi-year strategy for corporate and foundation giving, incorporating prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and recognition. The role manages a portfolio of corporate partners and foundation donors, creating tailored strategies to deepen engagement through partnership opportunities, volunteer activation, sponsorships, and institutional philanthropy. The Manager also collaborates with the Grant Writer to identify new opportunities and supports the onboarding and integration of the Corporate and Foundation Relations team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
Grants Management<ul><li>
Lead the preparation, writing, and submission of all Annual Fund grant applications, including proposals, narratives, budgets, attachments, and supporting documents.</li><li>
Manage a comprehensive grants calendar to ensure timely submission of proposals and reports, balancing multiple deadlines and priorities.</li><li>
Research, evaluate, and recommend new institutional funding opportunities for general operating, programmatic, and capital needs.</li></ul>
