EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
<br>The caseworker’s primary purpose is to take and process applications and/or maintain a caseload in Family & Children’s Medicaid, Adult Medicaid, or Food and Nutrition Services programs. The caseworker will also take and process Energy applications as assigned. The caseworker will be working in NCFAST to gather data and input into the web data-based system. The caseworker will determine eligibility during the application process by obtaining all pertinent data concerning the client’s family composition, financial, employment, and health status in order to determine eligibility. Additionally, the caseworker will be responsible for maintaining a caseload for continued eligibility in NC Medicaid or FNS by using the same standards of obtaining pertinent information.
