Job Description 

Turner &amp; Townsend are looking for an experienced Senior Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to act as the key, day-to-day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met through the delivery of a value-added cost management service.
This role will support the delivery of a large-scale hyperscale data center campus or mission-critical construction program within the U.S. Candidates should have experience supporting complex capital projects and technically sophisticated facilities within fast-paced construction environments.

The base salary range for this role is $135K-$165K USD. This range reflects the company's good faith estimate of the base salary for this position at the time of the posting. The Analyst - FP&amp;A, NGM is a hands-on, operationally focused FP&amp;A analyst supporting Nevada Gold Mines (NGM) and the broader Barrick North America platform. Reporting to the Manager - FP&amp;A, NGM, with day-to-day functional alignment to the Senior Manager - FP&amp;A Operations through the Manager, the role assists with site and asset budgets, forecasts, rolling outlooks, Life-of-Mine (LOM) and business plan inputs, monthly performance reporting, cost and productivity analysis, variance analysis, KPI dashboards, data reconciliation, and operational decision support across Carlin, Cortez, Turquoise Ridge, and the NGM processing assets. The Analyst supports the NGM FP&amp;A Manager, NGM CFO, site leadership, and North America Operational FP&amp;A by collecting and validating site inputs, maintaining cost models and reporting templates, preparing schedules, charts, and supporting analyses, and reconciling submissions across SAP / ERP, OneStream, Xeras, and BI tools. Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities
Operational Budget &amp; Forecast Support
<ul><li>Collect and validate site and asset inputs into the NGM annual operating budget, quarterly forecasts, and rolling outlooks across Carlin, Cortez, Turquoise Ridge, and processing assets, performing completeness and consistency checks for the Manager - FP&amp;A, NGM.
</li><li>Maintain operational FP&amp;A planning templates, schedules, calendars, and tracking logs, and update them across each cycle in alignment with North America Operational FP&amp;A standards.
</li><li>Link planning assumptions to mine plans, production schedules, processing throughput, head grade, recovery, unit costs, and corporate guidance, and document the basis of inputs for Manager review.
</li><li>Assist with consolidation of revenue, operating cost, capital, headcount, and KPI inputs into integrated NGM views, reconciling to corporate consolidation outputs.
</li><li>Prepare draft assumption summaries, submission instructions, and input trackers for review by the Manager - FP&amp;A, NGM and the Senior Manager - FP&amp;A Operations.
</li></ul>Monthly Performance &amp; Variance Analysis
<ul><li>Prepare monthly NGM performance reporting on a disciplined cadence, including actual versus budget, forecast, and prior period analysis at site, asset, and consolidated NGM levels.
</li><li>Support decomposition of cost and productivity variances into volume, price, rate, mix, and timing effects, drafting clear, evidence-based commentary for Manager and Senior Manager review.
</li><li>Analyze unit cost performance, cost-per-tonne and cost-per-ounce metrics, and operational productivity drivers, surfacing risks and opportunities with quantified financial impact.
</li><li>Update KPI schedules and operational dashboards that link financial outcomes to physical drivers such as tonnes mined, tonnes milled, ounces produced, head grade, recovery, equipment availability, and utilization.
</li><li>Maintain risk and opportunity logs, ensuring entries are accurately captured, classified, and refreshed each forecast cycle.
</li></ul>LOM &amp; Long-Range Planning Inputs
<ul><li>Assist with NGM FP&amp;A inputs into Life-of-Mine and long-range business plans, including financial schedules, assumptions, reconciliations, and supporting workings.
</li><li>Translate long-range mine plans and capital scenarios into integrated financial schedules under guidance from the Manager - FP&amp;A, NGM, supporting sensitivity testing across commodity prices, throughput, head grade, recovery, unit costs, and capital phasing.
</li><li>Support scenario and option analysis for NGM business cases, life-of-asset extensions, and strategic initiatives, ensuring inputs and outputs are consistent with North America Operational FP&amp;A methodology.
</li><li>Reconcile LOM and business plan financial outputs to budgets, forecasts, and prior approved plans, documenting bridges and key drivers for review.
</li></ul>Site Decision Support &amp; Business Partnering
<ul><li>Support the NGM CFO, Manager - FP&amp;A, NGM, General Managers, mine and process leadership, supply chain, and technical services with analysis, cost tracking, and productivity diagnostics.
</li><li>Prepare analyses that inform operational decisions, including cost trade-offs, productivity initiatives, contractor versus owner-operator scenarios, consumables usage, and maintenance spend reviews.
</li><li>Coordinate inputs and supporting data for cross-functional NGM working sessions on mine plans, forecasts, and business cases, helping to align operational, technical, and financial assumptions.
</li><li>Assist with risk and opportunity updates for the NGM CFO and site leadership, refreshing quantified financial impacts and tracking mitigations through to resolution.
</li></ul>Cost Modeling &amp; Operational Analytics
<ul><li>Maintain NGM cost models, driver-based schedules, bridges, and waterfalls that quantify operational efficiency, unit cost performance, and the financial impact of operational initiatives.
</li><li>Update labor, contractor, consumables, maintenance, and energy cost trackers, reconciling to ERP actuals and operational reporting.
</li><li>Maintain cost-per-tonne and cost-per-ounce analytics across mining, processing, and site services, surfacing trends, outliers, and improvement opportunities for Manager review.
</li><li>Build and refresh dashboards and visualizations that translate complex operational data into clear insight for site leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
</li></ul>Reporting, Systems &amp; Data Integrity
<ul><li>Reconcile NGM data between source systems and consolidated reporting outputs, including SAP / ERP, OneStream, and Xeras or other planning tools, supporting traceability and audit readiness.
</li><li>Validate master data, chart-of-account usage, hierarchies, and mapping logic used across NGM planning and reporting cycles, surfacing inconsistencies for resolution.
</li><li>Support refresh and maintenance of Power BI, Tableau, and Excel-based reports used by NGM and North America Operational FP&amp;A.
</li><li>Ensure NGM submissions align with North America FP&amp;A standards and Operational FP&amp;A templates, and document data, mapping, and reconciliation issues with follow-up tracking.
</li><li>Maintain version control and supporting documentation for NGM planning and reporting models, schedules, and outputs.
</li></ul>Cross-Functional &amp; Operational FP&amp;A Alignment
<ul><li>Coordinate with NGM site finance teams across Carlin, Cortez, Turquoise Ridge, and processing assets to gather inputs, clarify submissions, and resolve data and reporting questions.
</li><li>Work with Operations FP&amp;A and the Senior Manager - FP&amp;A Operations through the Manager - FP&amp;A, NGM to ensure NGM outputs are consistent with North America Operational FP&amp;A methodologies, templates, and cadence.

</li></ul>Continuous Improvement &amp; Ad-hoc Analysis
<ul><li>Identify opportunities to improve NGM FP&amp;A templates, cost models, dashboards, reporting workflows, and documentation, and assist with implementing approved changes.
</li><li>Help standardize operational KPI definitions, calculations, and presentation across NGM planning and reporting outputs in coordination with the Manager and Senior Manager - FP&amp;A Operations.

</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Engineering, Mining Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field required.
</li><li>Progress toward, or interest in, CPA, CMA, CIMA, or another relevant professional designation preferred.
</li><li>1-4+ years of experience in FP&amp;A, site finance, cost accounting, operational finance, mining finance, business analysis, reporting, or data analytics; relevant internship or co-op experience considered for strong candidates.
</li><li>Mining, metals, heavy industrials, or other site-facing operating environments preferred, with exposure to mine and processing operating models, cost structures, and operational KPIs an advantage.
