An important aspect of this work is the employment of casework skills in obtaining essential information, counseling clients and members of their families, and helping them to utilize all available resources. Work also involves the application of problem solving techniques, providing counseling to maximize service delivery and to achieve service plan goals, monitoring client behavior, and interacting with agencies which make up the service network. Work is performed in accordance with established regulations, policies, and procedures, but employees are expected to exercise initiative and judgment in discharging their duties. Supervision may be exercised over paraprofessional and/or clerical staff.  Coordinates, plans, and directs the oversight of intake, probation, parole, and prevention and intervention services for the county office.

 Ensures compliance with agency policies and procedures.

 Ensures compliance with victim services.
 <br/>

 Promotes volunteer service work in the county office.

 Completes reports, file reviews, audits and provides information as needed.

 Promotes restorative justice practices to address the repair of harm/compensation to victims and communities.

  PREFERRED AGENCY REQUIREMENTS:

 A bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, criminal justice, or related field. Four (4) years&rsquo; experience in strength-based case management, work with community-based programs, intake case management, probation, intensive case management, criminal justice or equivalent related experience. Two (2) years of supervisory experience is preferred.
