Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Pick up and/or deliver reports, specimens, slides, blocks, etc. from the client and other ProPath locations.</li><li>
Comply with all safety policies.</li><li>
Submit annual physical and background checks to ensure the ability to drive a motor vehicle.</li><li>
Submit to a random drug test if the name is selected.</li><li>
Maintain compliance with company and department policies and procedures.</li><li>
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.</li><li>
Maintain confidentiality of employee, patient, client, and/or company records and issues.</li><li>
Communicate effectively with all levels of management, co-workers, and clients to provide quality customer service.</li><li>
Represent ProPath in a courteous, professional manner.</li><li>
Maintain a professional appearance through adherence to company approve dress code and laboratory safety requirements.</li><li>
Work overtime and flexible hours as needed.</li><li>
Special projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor.</li></ul>
Experience:<ul><li>
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
Requires a valid driver's license and a good driving record.</li><li>
At least 1 year of courier experience is preferred.</li><li>
Ability to perform repetitive or routine duties. Requires driving for extended periods of time.</li><li>
Must be alert and energetic. Great mental demands and extreme attention to detail is required in the completion of activities.</li><li>
Must be able to lift 40 lbs unassisted.</li><li>
Ability to interact with other departments as well as fellow coworkers. Internal and external client dealings require courtesy and tact.</li></ul>

 Driver/Courier
 
 to support our operations based out of our Odenton, MD location. This role is responsible for transporting mail, packages, and various materials between company sites, client locations, and area post offices. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable operating commercial vehicles, including box trucks up to 26 feet and cargo vans. In addition to driving, this role will involve helping out in the warehouse as needed. While prior warehouse experience is a plus, it is not required.

 Key Requirements for the Driver / Courier:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Prior professional driving experience, ideally driving 26-foot box trucks
 </li>
 <li>
 Clean Driving Record
 </li>
 <li>
 DOT Medical Card (current or ability to obtain)
 </li>
 <li>
 Willing to help out in other areas including the warehouse when not driving
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications for the Driver / Courier:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate 26-ft box trucks
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous courier, delivery, or professional driving experience required
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to lift, carry, and move packages and mail (typically up to 50 lbs)
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong time-management skills and reliability in meeting delivery timelines
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with Maryland and Washington, DC roadways is a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to pass required background checks and drug screening
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Responsibilities of the Courier / Driver:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Safely operate box trucks (up to 26 ft) and vans for daily pick-ups and deliveries
 </li>
 <li>
 Transport mail, packages, supplies, and other materials between company locations, client sites, and post offices
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow established routes and delivery schedules while maintaining flexibility for urgent or unscheduled tasks
 </li>
 <li>
 Load and unload items, ensuring all materials are properly secured and handled with care
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and any required documentation
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and team members
 </li>
 <li>
 Help out as needed in other areas of operations including in the warehouse
 </li>
 <li>
 Adhere to company safety procedures and all DOT, state, and local regulations
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
