In addition, the role serves as a key point of contact for judges, court staff, attorneys, litigants, and the public by providing information on hearings, case processing, and courtroom assignments via phone, email, and in person. The position requires real-time courtroom support, including entering live data, assisting with hearing scheduling, and responding to questions during proceedings. Responsibilities further extend to maintaining proper records and communication standards, generating availability lists for court use, assisting with employee training, supporting special projects, and providing cross-functional assistance to other court divisions as needed. 
The Work Hours
Full-time court employees are currently scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week. The work hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.

DEFINITION</div><div>
Under general supervision, provides direct service case management to participants of the Dane County Community Court. This position assesses participant needs and eligibility and connects them with identified resources. Complete screening and assessment to determine eligibility, risk, and needs of individuals referred to Community Court. Develop participant program agreements outlining objectives participants need to complete to resolve their criminal case(s). Monitor participant&rsquo;s compliance with program agreements and conditions, as ordered by the Community Court Judge. Connect participants with community resources and conduct collateral contacts. Complete and submit progress and violation reports to the Court, District Attorney&rsquo;s Office, and Defense Attorney in a timely manner. Attend all Community Court meetings, staffing, and hearings. Maintain accurate case notes in case management software. Communicate participant progress with justice stakeholders and official documents.</div>

Community Court Case Manager (Project)

<div>The Court Administrator/Clerk of Court will be responsible for all aspects of court operations. The duties will involve the usual responsibilities of such positions&mdash;including handling all filings and management of official records, scheduling dockets, preparation of court minutes, and assisting with trials and hearings. The Clerk will oversee computer records and transcription systems. The Court Administrator will assist in the preparation and administration of the court budget, arrange for court security, handle public information, and provide administrative management of jurors and witnesses.
The position is one of trust and involves the management of court funds. The Court Administrator/Court Clerk must be able to develop relationships of trust and respect with litigants, legal professionals, judges, and the public.

Job Summary:

The Court Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily court operations while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role manages court bookings, supports programming and events, and leads the court team to maintain high standards of service, safety, and organization. The Court Supervisor plays a key role in driving operational efficiency, resolving guest concerns, and ensuring all court facilities are maintained to brand standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong organizational skills and a passion for hospitality and recreation.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Court Operations &amp; Scheduling: 
o Oversee and manage court bookings, including rentals, lessons, and reservations. 
o Ensure efficient and professional guest check-in and check-out processes. 
o Provide accurate information on services, programs, events, and memberships. 
o Supervise scheduling for court time, lessons, and activities to optimize utilization. 
o Maintain and regularly update the court and event calendar.

Guest Service &amp; Experience: 
o Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and hospitality. 
o Address and resolve guest concerns or escalations in a timely and professional manner. 
o Ensure a welcoming, organized, and high-quality court environment at all times. 
o Support guests with equipment, rules, and general inquiries.

Team Leadership &amp; Development: 
o Supervise, support, and motivate court staff to ensure high performance and service standards. 
o Assist with staff scheduling, shift coverage, and daily task delegation. 
o Provide training, coaching, and ongoing feedback to team members. 
o Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Retail &amp; Revenue Support: 
o Oversee retail and beverage cart operations, ensuring accurate transactions and strong sales performance. 
o Support upselling of court programs, lessons, memberships, and retail offerings. 
o Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock management.

Court Maintenance &amp; Operations: 
o Ensure courts are clean, safe, and properly set up before and after use. 
o Oversee routine maintenance such as net adjustments, court sweeping, and equipment organization. 
o Monitor court conditions and ensure any maintenance or safety concerns are reported and addressed promptly. 
o Maintain organization and presentation of all court areas, storage spaces, and equipment.

Events &amp; Programming Support: 
o Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing court-related events, tournaments, and special programming. 
o Ensure events run smoothly, including staffing, setup, and guest experience. 
o Collaborate with instructors and event teams to deliver high-quality programming.

Administrative &amp; Operational Support: 
o Oversee POS transactions, payments, and daily financial accuracy. 
o Ensure proper record-keeping and reporting for court usage and revenue. 
o Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Front Desk, Events, Recreation) to support operations. 
o Enforce all court rules, policies, and safety procedures.

Health &amp; Safety Compliance: 
o Ensure all operations comply with company policies and safety standards. 
o Maintain a safe environment for guests and team members at all times. 
o Monitor adherence to court rules and proper equipment usage.

 This is a first-level management, professional, full-time, position with the City's Municipal Court. An individual in this position will assist the Director of Courts Services and the Deputy Court Administrator in the daily administrative and operational elements of the Municipal Court. This position will oversee all court staff when the Director and Deputy Court Administrator are unavailable. The position requires a specialized knowledge of court operations, policies, and procedures, and state statutes/laws.
