 Our Designer will render creative depictions of programming ideas, produce gorgeous images to tell stories, and transform sometimes text-heavy slides into graphic representations of all that we can do as a firm. They&rsquo;ll not only be able to imagine creative solutions, but describe their intent. They&rsquo;ll also counsel teams on what can and can&rsquo;t be done in a given time period, collaborate with other designers and art directors, and command a toolbox of skills to quickly and efficiently transform undesigned content into beautiful documents.
 
 
 It will be important to stay current on design trends, identify and implement the coolest, newest creative ideas. It is also important that this designer is inclusive in the creative, allowing collaboration and meaningful exchange between design and account teams&mdash;all the while helping to execute a shared vision that is top-notch.

Position Summary:
The APLD Intern is a part time, temporary position designed to provide students with hands on experience during the summer (May to August 2026) to support Applied Digital&rsquo;s business operations. Interns are matched to teams based on their interests, background, and organizational needs and contribute to meaningful, project based work across departments such as IT, Accounting/Finance, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Operations, and Development.
This role offers exposure to APLD&rsquo;s cross functional, collaborative environment, with opportunities to build foundational business and technical skills, receive mentorship, and gain insight into how digital tools, processes, and teams work together to support APLD&rsquo;s mission. The internship is primarily based in Dallas, Texas, with remote participation available depending on team and project needs. 
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Support the creative team in executing ongoing projects across video, social media campaigns, presentations, infographics, website content, and newsletters.</li><li>
Assist in designing social media graphics, marketing collateral, and internal/external communications.</li><li>
Contribute to presentation and deck creation for executive and corporate use.</li><li>

 What You'll Do

 Participate in brainstorming and ideation;

 Assist in creation of mock ups, demos for concept discussion

 Work on franchise design development, titles, logos
 </li>
 <li>
 Create, re-size and adapt assets that appear on multiple platforms

 </ul>
 
 What We&rsquo;re Looking For
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in Google Slides and Apple Keynote
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Interest in digital products, audience strategy, and newsroom transformation
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of social platforms such as YouTube, TikTok and Instagram
 </li>
 <li>
 Graphic Design, Marketing Design; Motion Design, Digital Product Design
 </li>
 <li>
 Required skills are Adobe Creative Suite, Figma
 </li>
 <li>
 Nice to have skills are Premiere, After Effects

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Creative Design Intern to support the development of digital content, data visualization, and multimedia assets. This role will work closely with internal teams to create visually compelling materials that communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively across multiple platforms.
Desired experience:
<ul><li>Experience working collaboratively with a team to develop graphics, receiving critique and implementing feedback.
</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, etc.)</li>
<li>Experience in one or more of the following areas: Graphic design, motion design, video editing, multimedia content creation (including social, digital, or interactive formats.)</li></ul>
