As a Credit Card Control Officer, your role is to manage and control administration for the Corporate Payment Gateway and Payment Gateway Service providers' sites by assisting end-user community in using and utilising the systems efficiently by providing online support to system usage. Ensure, through participation in the systems development life cycle, preparing test packs, planning and conducting comprehensive system testing error free implementation of new functionality within the Corporate Payment Gateway. Support and coordinate credit card fraud and related financial loss prevention efforts for the Group's commerce activities.
In this role, you will:
<ul><li>Manage and control administration of the Group's Corporate Payment Gateway and Payment Gateway Service Providers' sites including the setups and access levels for the various lines of business.
</li><li>Control and authenticate the testing of enhancements, patches and new releases for the Corporate Payment Gateway. Ensure end-user communities are informed in advance of changes and new functionality introduced to allow for end-user education and familiarisation prior to its release.
</li><li>Collate, analyse and comment on credit card related statistics (volumes, values, charges) in order to assist negotiations with the credit card schemes/acquirers and payment gateway service providers.
</li><li>Maintain and update the database of all information related to fraudulent credit card payment attempts made over the Group's internet sites so as to prevent attempts in future and provide MIS to the senior management.
</li><li>Continuously evaluate the risk checks and controls to ascertain their effectiveness in effectively containing and reducing the incidence of frauds but at the same time not impeding genuine transactions.
</li><li>Analyse fraud patterns to suggest implementation of new and improved risk mitigation techniques on Corporate Payment Gateway and Payment Gateway Service Providers' sites.
</li><li>Act as a focal point in coordinating with Group Security, e-Commerce and MARS BSG for blocking credit card numbers and email addresses of fraudulent attempts made on the Group's internet sites and suspension of open e-tickets bought over the internet using fraudulent credit cards to ensure that they are not utilised and thereby preventing financial loss to the Company.

</h5>To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:
<ul><li>3+ years of experience in finance, accounts or banking
</li><li>Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounts.

We have an exciting opportunity for Credit Controller. A credit controller is responsible for collecting invoices and ensures that credit given to customers is monitored. You will coordinate the debts of our existing customers by collecting the overdue amounts, decide whether to allow credit to a debtor and resolving non-paid invoices. Ensure payment is received promptly and efficiently. Credit Controller role is critical position that directly contributes to an organisation's liquidity. 


Detailed Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Follow up overdue invoices by telephone, email &amp; letter within agreed timescales.</li>
<li>Handle disputed Invoices and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms.</li>
<li>Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries about errors in Invoicing ,payments, SOA and thus ensure customers to pay on time.</li>
<li>Keep close liaison between the Customer and the sales/Customer service department/ Operations so that credit issues are resolved smoothly.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records of all payment follow up activities.</li>
<li>Regularly making contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary.</li>
<li>Checking customer's credit situation and Setting up the terms and conditions of the receivable balances.</li>
<li>Ensuring for credit and collection policies and procedures are followed as per the DSV guidelines.</li>
<li>Follow the DSV dunning procedures closely whenever a customer defaults the credit agreement.</li>
<li>Evaluate the Credit limit weekly and update the revised limits based on evaluation and approval.</li>

<li>Issue credit confirmation letter for all approved credit applications and get signed from the customer for record keeping.</li>
<li>Review the validity of the legal documents such as trade license and tax certificates and request for the renewed licenses as and when they expire.</li>
<li>Monitoring closely the customer outstanding balances to ensure a reduction in DSO.</li>
<li>Reconcile the account balances every month and prepare the debtors ageing for the monthly reporting.</li>
<li>Review the Bad debt details and prepare bad debt provision for the monthly financial reporting.</li>
<li>Review and prepare Credit Insurance overview at the month end and prepare the necessary credit documents such as CAF forms if required and signed off by Management.</li>
<li>Propose write off of irrecoverable receivables or recommend for legal actions.</li>
<li>Providing ad-hoc reports as and when requested by management.</li>
<li>Meet weekly and Monthly KPI's set.</li>
<li>Review and prepare various reports on a weekly or monthly basis.</li></ul>
