Responsibilities:

We are seeking an Assistant Dispatcher to join our high energy, fun, and fast paced work environment. The Asssitant Dispatcher is responsible for helping scheduling the drivers routes and ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries. We only want dynamic, career-minded people who are willing to dedicate themselves to this job.<ul><li>
Use the dispatch program to track orders from other stores and set up/ distribute runs to drivers</li><li>
Supports lead Dispatcher in ensuring that driver counts money collected and put delivery times on bills</li><li>
Work with Parts Pullers to help deliveries go out correctly</li><li>
Work with drivers to and verifies they know the correct route</li><li>
Work with customers over the phone to update them on the status of their orders</li><li>
Properly assist drivers who have difficulty with routes or any other aspect of the job</li><li>
Work well with customers</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li><li>
Maintain and promote workplace safety</li><li>
Securing and transferring cash or other assets.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Must have 1-2 years experience working as an asisistant dispatcher or dispatcher</li><li>
Extensive knowledge of area roads</li><li>
Experience in working with multiple drivers</li><li>

The dispatcher&rsquo;s job is to schedule drivers to pick-up or deliver loads to customers or vendors.
Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Schedule and dispatch drivers, trucks and other service vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using direct personal contact, radios or telephones.</li><li>
Part of the dispatcher&rsquo;s job is to coordinate and manage the most efficient loads to remain cost effective as a company. Ensure that every ticket or forms released or made by the Ordering Unit conform with clients order specification and delivery schedules</li><li>

Confer with customers or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment.</li><li>
Prepare daily work and run schedules while also drawing up weekly projections for work schedule and truck deployment in line with pending or potential job or delivery orders</li><li>
Oversee all communications within specifically assigned areas.</li><li>
Monitor personnel and/or equipment locations and utilization in order to coordinate service and schedules</li><li>
