Position Philosophy:
</b></p><p>The Sales Stocking Crew Supervisors primary responsibility is to ensure that all freight is put away in a safe and efficient manner. The Stocking Crew Supervisor is responsible for leading associates involved with putting away freight &amp; any daily tasks as assigned by the Store Manager. The Stocking Crew Supervisor will be responsible for the upkeep of the store while still contributing to the overall store safety and cleanliness. The Stocking Crew Supervisor position will ensure that the Owenhouse Best Practices in stocking, pricing, merchandising and maintenance of merchandise presentation are trained to and followed on a daily, weekly basis by the Stocking Crew. This position is responsible for the safety, delegation and achievement of tasks by the Stocking Crew Team.

JOB SUMMARY</b></div><div>
Oversee the planning and forecasting of train crew workforce demands to ensure effective and efficient utilization of Train &amp; Engine (T&amp;E) employees. Supervise Crew Management Center (CMC) staff in deploying daily T&amp;E workforce to meet business needs and ensure service and cost objectives are being met. Develop and ensure timely implementation of scheduling and other long-term workforce planning programs that align with special schedules, collective bargaining agreements (CBA) and budgetary initiatives.</div><div><b><br>
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></div><ul><li>
Oversee the process and compliance with staffing train and engine employees to cover regularly scheduled assignments, planned/unplanned absences, increases/decreases in Capital Flag work, and changes to assignments for special/holiday schedules.</li><li>
Manage, plan, and ensure effective coordination of the weekly CBA job advertisement/bids and awards process and the establishment of Extra Lists to cover planned absences. Supervise CMC managers and represented staff in the execution of these duties.</li><li>
Oversee and enforce MNR policies and procedures up to and including attendance as it relates to Kronos/Attendance Tracking System (ATS)/Discipline Tracking System (DTS) policies of represented and non-represented staff in accordance with the disciplinary process.</li><li>

Lead coordination with Capital Trainmasters, Assistant. Superintendents, and Line Superintendents to effectively organize required Capital work schedules/assignments for crew book picks.</li><li>
Develop, implement, and modify both short and long-term reporting on labor costs, including vacations, holidays, vacated train assignments, guarantee and relief days, etc.</li><li>
Respond to service disruptions to support field operation by coordinating T&amp;E crews for ad hoc schedule based on qualifications, hours of service. Manage CMC support and implementation of emergency service plans and other duties as assigned in support of corporate/departmental goals.</li><li>
Provide support to other CMC managers to meet daily operational needs. Requires availability to work nights and weekends to ensure continuous, 24/7 management coverage for the office.</li><li>

As a <b>Landscape Operations Manager</b> at Schill Landscaping, you must be able to perform the following essential functions of the job:</p><ul><li>
Train and strictly enforce all safety procedures and policies.</li><li>
Ensure work is performed to the level of quality required to completely satisfy each customer.</li><li>
Participate in the company&rsquo;s Quality Control System.</li><li>
Oversee training and certification activities.</li><li>
Identify and work to improve lower level performing crew leaders and crews.</li><li>
Create capability within the crews through training, instruction, education, correction and follow-up.</li><li>
Ensure that no crew is dispatched without job hours, a clear scope of work, and proper equipment.</li><li>
Ensure all crews are working productively and consistent with the company&rsquo;s Production System.</li><li>
Ensure every crew has a plan that includes proper scope, proper sequence of tasks, the right number of people, the right personnel qualifications, training and certification for the job, the right equipment and work-hour targets.</li><li>
Challenge the established job plans periodically and continuously improve the plans.</li><li>
Create job plans for new jobs before the work begins.</li><li>
Identify low performing jobs and re-plan the work to improve performance.</li><li>
Develop crew schedules accounting for and optimizing job locations, equipment allocation, crew skills, customer preferences, most productive job timing, job hours.</li><li>
Support the mechanic&rsquo;s programs for Preventative Maintenance, repair procedures, safety and function inspections, and inventory systems.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Assist as appropriate in developing production cost estimates for new opportunities.</li><li>
Act as a liaison between field operations and the administrative, customer service, and general management functions</li><li>
Follow all company policies and procedures.</li><li>
