</div>What you Deliver in this role:
<ul><li>You will provide crisis intervention, emotional support, information &amp; referral, education, support, and advocacy to survivors of domestic and sexual violence.</li><li>
You will conduct danger assessments with survivors and creates safety plans based on each client&rsquo;s individual case and needs.</li><li>
You will provide shelter screenings and coordination of shelter placement and emergency transportation of clients.</li><li>
You will make CPS and APS reports as required and needed.</li><li>
You will keep accurate client and hotline/chat data/records for monthly reports.</li><li>
You will communicate with program and on-call staff including Supervisors, Crisis Response Advocates, and community partners.</li><li>
You will communicate with HAWC&rsquo;s answering service to relay and respond to messages.</li><li>
You will communicate with leadership and other Hotline staff on the team regarding case management and other issues.</li><li>
You will attend mandatory monthly meetings and training with the Hotline &amp; Crisis Intervention Services Coordinator, All Department Staff Meetings, and/or meet as assigned.</li><li>

<div>988 Crisis Counselor, Bilingual Spanish (Olympic Suicide Prevention Center)

This is a fully remote position. The pay for this position is $26.00 per hour with a $3.00 overnight differential.

The schedule is Sunday from 12:30pm-9:00pm and Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00pm-11:00pm PST, totaling 20 hours per week.

This role requires a three-week 40-hour per week training at the start of employment.

Summary

As a bilingual 988 Crisis Counselor, you will be responsible for providing crisis intervention, emotional support, and resources to all help-seekers in English and Spanish via telephone. A high emphasis is placed on quality assurance and efficiency for this role.

Primary Duties
<ul>
<li>Offers crisis counseling services via telephone and chat.</li>
<li>Works alongside shift supervisors to answer, manage, screen and conduct risk assessments of crisis calls.</li>

This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through direct patient care, clinical assessments, and collaborative treatment planning.Position OverviewWe are seeking a licensed counselor to provide:<ul><li>Mental health counseling</li><li>Substance use disorder (SUD) counseling</li><li>Co-occurring disorder treatment</li></ul>This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse population in a collaborative, mission-driven environment with strong clinical support.Duties<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for clients with mental health and substance use disorders.</li><li>Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed approaches.</li><li>Provide crisis intervention and crisis management to ensure client safety during acute episodes or emergencies.</li><li>Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with best practices in behavioral health, addiction medicine, and PTSD care.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and clinical reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical record standards.</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams&mdash;including physicians, case managers, and community providers&mdash;to coordinate care and facilitate seamless patient transitions across settings such as hospitals or community clinics.</li><li>Engage in ongoing research activities and data collection to support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice enhancements.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Current licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), LISW-S, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or LPCC-S required.</li><li>Proven experience in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and behavioral health settings.</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and documentation standards.</li><li>Familiarity with addiction counseling techniques, trauma-focused therapies including PTSD care, and behavior management strategies.</li><li>Ability to perform client assessments effectively using diagnostic tools such as ICD coding systems; experience with intake procedures is preferred.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for engaging clients across diverse populations in individual or group therapy environments.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage crises confidently while maintaining a compassionate approach; experience in hospital or home &amp; community care settings is advantageous.</li><li>Knowledge of research methodologies related to behavioral health outcomes; proficiency with data collection tools is a plus.
