Sets up fencing, barricades, and/or safety cones to block off the work area as needed.</li><li>
Prepares manhole covers, openings and water lines. May insert risers as needed.</li><li>
Walks behind paver machine to shovel and rake asphalt as it is applied to the ground. Levels out asphalt with rake and uses shovel to dig out manhole covers and water valve boxes that are buried by the asphalt.</li><li>
Cleans asphalt off tools and equipment after each work day.</li><li>
May assist with operating equipment as needed and if trained, including paver, roller, backhoe, water truck, etc.</li><li>

</p><p><b>Job Summary:</b></p>
<p>
A Flex Machine Operator for GoGo squeeZ-Bel is responsible for learning how to operate various machines on different high speed production lines (i.e. crusher, mixer/cooker, packaging equipment, etc.). This position will be used for coverage in the event of an absence and will assist with quality issues, sanitation and projects as needed.</p>
<p><b>
This position is for B shift - Sunday through Tuesday and E/O Wednesday from 7:00pm - 7:00am. There is a $2 differential for this shift.</b></p>
<p><b>
Position Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Operation of Tetra Pak machine &ndash; mixing of materials and products</li>
</ul><ul><li><div><ul><li>Load ingredients into Tetra Pak machine according to Materne&rsquo;s specifications</li>
<li>Operate high-speed manufacturing equipment through touchscreen/HMI</li>
<li>Read schematics and diagrams to monitor machine activity (flow, machine status, temperature settings, level indication)</li>
<li>Testing of PH levels, viscosity levels, brix levels, using quality devices</li>
<li>Receive / inspect materials and accept or reject based on Materne&rsquo;s specifications</li>
</ul></div></li></ul><ul><li>Operation of Volpak Machine &ndash; form, fill and seal pouches</li>
</ul><ul><li><div><ul><li>Lift and add rolls of packaging film into machine</li>
<li>Observe materials to identify contamination or foreign materials</li>

<li>Document all necessary supply inventories</li>

<li>Inspect product as it moves through manufacturing process for quality</li>
<li>Conduct quality testing and record data in a timely and accurate manner</li>
<li>Perform troubleshooting and basic maintenance of equipment</li>
<li>Operate industrial carts and power hand carts</li>
<li>Break down machinery with hand tools to clean and sanitize</li>
<li>Complete daily paperwork and reports</li>

<p><b>Physical Requirements:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Must be able to stand for an entire shift 12 hours</li>
<li>Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.</li>
<li>Must be able to walk up &amp; down stairs multiple times per shift</li>

<p><b>Education:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>High School diploma or GED required</li>
<li>Technical / Trade School preferred</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Experience:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Prior experience working as a Machine Operator or similar position in a manufacturing environment</li>
<li>Prior experience working in the food industry is preferred</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Knowledge/Skills:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Strong attention to detail</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively in English</li>
<li>Ability to plan work and anticipate problems</li>
<li>Mechanical aptitude</li>
<li>Computer skills (data entry &amp; experience with an ERP system in a production environment preferred)</li>
