Reviews CT/radiographic images for clinically acceptable results and releases patients.</li><li>
Responds to emergency situations; restocks crash cart and maintains life‑support equipment.</li><li>
Assists technologists in all imaging modalities when needed.</li><li>
Observes patient condition and evaluates when physician intervention is necessary.</li><li>
Verifies patient identity using two unique identifiers per hospital policy.</li><li>
Ensures patient privacy, comfort, and dignity throughout the exam/procedure.</li><li>
Demonstrates competence in selecting appropriate procedures, equipment, supplies, and techniques based on patient age.</li><li>

Provides preparatory instructions and procedure explanations to patients.</li><li>
Ensures documentation is concise, legible, and uses precise terminology.</li><li>

Quality Control</b></p><ul><li>
Consistently produces acceptable images based on radiologist feedback and quality audits.</li><li>
Ensures equipment is fully operational before each use by checking calibration and for deficiencies.</li><li>
Sends all studies to PACS immediately after completion; prints CDs as needed.</li><li>
Prints and scans after‑hours teleradiology reports into PACS when applicable.</li><li>
Completes all studies in RIS before completing them in PACS.</li><li>
Prints completed teleradiography log sheets and submits them to the radiologist when applicable.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Operations</b></p><ul><li>
Restocks linens and supplies; maintains a clean and orderly department.</li><li>
Transports and positions patients; assists them on and off the procedure table.</li><li>
Performs patient charging activities on the day services are rendered.</li><li>
Applies shielding, supportive, and immobilization devices appropriately.</li><li>
Willingly provides knowledge and assistance to others as needed and when time allows.</li><li>
Performs clerical and support duties when necessary to ensure continuity of services.</li><li>
