We are looking for a hardworking and detail-oriented Commis &ndash; Butchery to assist in the preparation, portioning, and storage of all meat, poultry, and seafood products in our kitchen. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in butchery and culinary techniques under the guidance of experienced chefs.</p>

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:</p>

<li>Assist in receiving, inspecting, and properly storing all meat, poultry, and seafood deliveries.</li>

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Commis, you will support senior chefs in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food, eager to learn, and ready to grow their culinary skills in a professional kitchen environment.</p>
<p>
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:</p>
<ul>
<li>Assist with the preparation of ingredients and basic cooking tasks under the supervision of senior chefs.</li>
<li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.</li>
<li>Prepare mise-en-place for daily service across different kitchen sections (hot, cold, pastry, etc.).</li>
<li>Follow recipes and guidelines accurately to ensure consistent food quality and presentation.</li>
<li>Ensure proper storage and labeling of all food items and ingredients.</li>
<li>Adhere to hygiene and safety standards at all times (HACCP or equivalent).</li>
<li>Help with receiving and storing deliveries in line with FIFO procedures.</li>
<li>Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.</li>
<li>Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.</li>
</ul>
<p>WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:</p>

<li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li>
<li>Culinary certification or diploma from a recognized institution is preferred.</li>
<li>Previous kitchen experience or internship is an advantage but not mandatory.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, cooking techniques, and food safety.</li>
<li>Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow within the culinary team.</li>
<li>Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays.</li>
