<b>POSITION DESCRIPTION</b></p>
<p>
Amideast/Egypt is seeking a qualified AI Curriculum Developer to design and develop a comprehensive Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy curriculum as part of the English for Career Readiness and AI Literacy (ECRAiL) program. The program targets Egyptian youth aged 18&ndash;30 across multiple cities and aims to strengthen employability through an intensive program combining English for Career Readiness, AI literacy, and Career Engagement Network Activities (CAN).
</p><p>The AI curriculum component will be delivered over 32 hours within a one-month period and will target participants from technology-related backgrounds, including: 1) Aspiring tech entrepreneurs 2) Entry-level staff at tech companies 3) University students in relevant fields 4) Entry-level government employees in key ministries.</p>

The selected consultant will be responsible for designing an interactive and practical AI curriculum, including all supporting instructional materials.</p>

<p><b>Eligibility Criteria</b></p><p>The candidate must have:</p><ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in Education (e.g., Master of Education &ndash; M.Ed) OR</li><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in a subject + professional teaching qualification such as: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).</li><li>3-5 years of teaching experience in schools, colleges, or universities.</li><li>Experience with curriculum development, mentoring teachers, or conducting workshops.</li></ul><p><b>Required Skills</b></p><ul><li>Strong pedagogical knowledge and curriculum standards.</li><li>Classroom management and lesson planning expertise</li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.</li><li>Ability to mentor and coach teachers effectively.</li><li>Strong organizational and training program development skills.</li><li>Ability to analyse teaching performance and provide constructive feedback.</li><li>Proficiency in using educational technologies and digital learning tools.</li></ul><p><b>Training / Certification (Preferred) </b></p><ul><li>Teacher training programs</li><li>Instructional design</li><li>Educational leadership</li></ul><p><b>Computer Skills</b></p><p>&middot; Ability to work on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Canva</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Design and deliver professional development workshops, training sessions, and seminars for teachers.</li><li>Provide mentoring, coaching, and guidance to teachers to improve instructional practices.</li><li>Observe classroom teaching and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.</li><li>Assist teachers in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and assessment strategies.</li><li>Develop training materials, instructional guides, and educational resources.</li><li>Introduce innovative teaching methodologies and educational technologies.</li><li>Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and modify them based on feedback and results.</li><li>Stay updated with current educational trends, research, and teaching strategies.</li></ul><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Pay: Rs65,000.00 - Rs75,000.00 per month</p><p>Work Location: In person</p>
