 SCHEDULE: Full time, Monday-Friday 7:00 am &ndash; 4: 00 pm with possible evening and weekend hours for special events.
 JOB SUMMARY: The Custodian will support the efficient operation of all spaces at 80 Pitt with an eye for detail and a strong sense of ownership. The Custodian is responsible for daily maintenance and upkeep of all bathrooms, common spaces and classrooms at 80 Pitt Street. This includes garbage removal, floor care, and general cleaning. In addition, the Custodian supports the programs with event set up and room set up as directed by the Facilities Manager or OAC Manager, as needed.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>
Must have a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).</li><li>
Previous youth based/school/community center security experience a plus.</li><li>
Previous experience working with a diverse population.</li><li>
The ideal candidate must be personable, energetic, and enthusiastic.</li><li>
Candidates must successfully complete the following: NYSDOH Fingerprinting Screening; New York State Clearance Review Background Check; three (3) Reference Checks; Physical with updated TB Test (Fees may apply).</li><li>

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Maintain the safety and appearance of the building to the highest standard, including:<ul><li>
