<p></p><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>In a state special school setting, and under direction from the Chief of Plant Operations, the Custodian Supervisor I will direct, plan, organize, supervise, and assist with the cleaning and custodial work of (15) full-time Custodians; evaluate their performance; supervise the operation of custodial machinery and equipment; perform inspections and maintain custodial practices and standards of safety and sanitation; train new employees; keep records and prepare reports.</div><div></div><div><br>
The incumbent is responsible for on the job training, and work performance evaluation of subordinate staff. Other duties include maintaining custodial materials and supplies inventory, submitting purchase requisitions, stores, and issues paper supplies, chemical supplies, and necessary equipment required to maintain the facility in clean and sanitary conditions for students and staff. CSDR is a residential school that has various types of classrooms, offices, workrooms, living areas, and multi-purpose activity spaces to maintain.</div><div></div><div><br>
Work Schedule: This is a (12) month position and works through Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer academic breaks. The regular hours are 11am -730pm Monday through Thursday and 8am - 430 pm on Friday, with weekends and state observed holidays off. This position may be required to work outside of normal working hours based on operational need and for providing support to various school events.</div><p>

1.High School Diploma or GED preferred, or agreement to participate in a District sponsored GED preparation.</p><p>

7.Perform maintenance, renovation, and repair of existing facilities.</p><p>
8.Report all safety hazards.</p><p>
9.Maintain accurate records of daily work and time and payroll information.</p><p>
