The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout all Everts Air facilities to present a clean, professional and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors alike.

Key Duties
<ul><li>
Operate various equipment such as floor scrubbers, snow blowers, and lawn mowers to accomplish tasks.
</li><li>Follow safety protocols and guidelines when using cleaning compounds.
</li><li>Perform extensive cleaning responsibilities, which include but are not limited to: using motorized cleaning machinery, mopping floors, relocating furniture, washing walls and windows, and disposing of waste.
</li><li>Restock paper supplies, hand sanitizer, soap, and other essentials in restrooms and kitchen areas.
</li><li>Provide cleaning and maintenance for designated facilities which include but are not limited to: dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, polishing floors, cleaning upholstery, window cleaning, washing laundry, shampooing carpets, cleaning ceiling vents, and maintaining restroom cleanliness.
</li><li>Requisition necessary supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance responsibilities.
</li><li>Perform routine maintenance tasks to repair equipment and maintain facilities including but not limited to: painting, replacing damaged ceiling and floor tiles, and patching walls.</li><li>
Perform routine grounds maintenance tasks including but not limited to: snow removal or debris from sidewalks and driveways, mowing and trimming lawns and shrubbery.</li><li>
Identify and report safety hazards or possible repairs.</li><li>
Conduct safety inspections of vehicles and equipment before use to ensure they are in proper working condition.
</li><li>Monitor facility security and perform lockdown procedures.</li></ul>

Must meet company standards for background checks and TSA-compliant security clearance.</li><li>

1. Perform custodial cleaning tasks to the satisfaction of the project supervisor and customer. 
2. Police the grounds and remove debris or snow as directed by the project supervisor. 
3. Complete all mandatory training programs. 
4. Maintain all equipment, storage areas, and custodial closets to reflect a professional appearance at all times. 
5. All custodians must represent the corporation in a professional manner, which includes reporting to work in clean and appropriate attire suitable for the position. 
6. Always report accidents and/or safety issues to the project supervisor immediately. 
7. Maintain an effective working relationship with the project supervisor and co-workers at all times. 
8. Comply with safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety of oneself and others. 
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the project supervisor or designee. 
Qualifications: 
1. Must be capable of meeting the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to constant standing, walking, stooping, and lifting. 
2. Must be able to follow instructions. 
3. Able to lift up to 30 pounds properly. 
4. Must pass any required federal, state, municipal, and/or customer-specific background check and drug test.
As per NYS Law, the full salary range is $15.50- $20.35 per hour. However, our Compensation System is designed to hire new employees between the rates listed above.
