<p><b>After Sales Engineer &ndash; Solar Hybrid Systems</b></p><p><b>Location:</b> DHA-2, Islamabad<br/><b>Department:</b> After Sales<br/><b>Reports To:</b> Service Manager<br/><b>Employment Type:</b> Full-Time</p><p><b>Job Summary</b></p><p>The After Sales Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation and maintenance of installed solar hybrid systems across residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The role involves commissioning support, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, customer training, and technical assistance to ensure maximum system performance and customer satisfaction.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Technical Support &amp; Field Service</b></p><ul><li>Provide on-site and remote technical support for solar hybrid systems.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve faults related to hybrid inverters, lithium batteries, PV arrays, protection devices, and monitoring systems.</li><li>Perform commissioning, testing, and system handover after installation.</li><li>Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance visits.</li><li>Monitor installed systems remotely and identify performance issues before they affect customers.</li><li>Ensure all service activities comply with company SOPs and electrical safety standards.</li></ul><p><b>Customer Support</b></p><ul><li>Respond promptly to customer complaints and service requests.</li><li>Provide technical guidance to customers on system operation and maintenance.</li><li>Maintain high customer satisfaction through professional communication and timely issue resolution.</li><li>Prepare service reports and obtain customer sign-off after each visit.</li></ul><p><b>Technical Coordination</b></p><ul><li>Coordinate with installation, sales, and procurement teams for technical support and replacement parts.</li><li>Maintain records of warranty status, service history, and equipment replacements.</li><li>Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or manufacturers when required.</li></ul><p><b>Documentation &amp; Reporting</b></p><ul><li>Maintain accurate service records and maintenance logs.</li><li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly service reports.</li><li>Record inverter, battery, and monitoring system configurations.</li><li>Update customer service databases and asset records.</li></ul><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.</li><li>Strong understanding of:</li><li>Solar PV systems</li><li>Hybrid inverters</li><li>Lithium battery storage systems</li><li>Battery Management Systems (BMS)</li><li>Net Metering fundamentals</li><li>AC/DC electrical systems</li><li>Ability to read electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs) and wiring drawings.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical reporting.</li><li>Valid motorcycle or driving licence with willingness to travel extensively across Pakistan.</li></ul><p><b>Skills &amp; Competencies</b></p><ul><li>Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.</li><li>Excellent customer service and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently in the field.</li><li>Time management and service scheduling.</li><li>Teamwork and coordination with cross-functional departments.</li><li>Commitment to safety and quality standards.</li></ul><p><b>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)</b></p><ul><li>First Visit Resolution (FVR) percentage.</li><li>Average response time to customer complaints.</li><li>Average issue resolution time.</li><li>Preventive maintenance completion rate.</li><li>Customer satisfaction (CSAT) score.</li><li>Number of repeat service calls.</li><li>Warranty claim turnaround time.</li><li>System uptime after service.</li><li>Quality and accuracy of service documentation.</li></ul><p><b>Working Conditions</b></p><ul><li>Primarily field-based with travel across assigned regions.</li><li>May require weekend or emergency support during critical customer outages.</li><li>Must adhere to electrical safety procedures and use appropriate PPE at all times.</li></ul><p><b>Compensation &amp; Benefits</b></p><ul><li>Market-competitive salary.</li><li>Fuel allowance and travel reimbursement.</li><li>Mobile phone allowance.</li><li>Performance-based incentives.</li><li>Annual bonus (subject to company policy).</li><li>Paid annual, casual, and sick leave.</li><li>EOBI and other statutory benefits (where applicable).</li><li>Professional training and manufacturer certification opportunities.</li></ul><p><b>Career Progression</b></p><ul><li>Senior After Sales Engineer</li><li>Technical Support Lead</li><li>Service Manager</li><li>Technical Operations Manager</li></ul><p>Pay: Rs35,000.00 per month</p><p>Willingness to travel:</p><ul><li>75% (Preferred)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
