As a Customer Service Rep 1 within the Columbus Health Department at the Georgia Department of Public Health, you will join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives of Georgian residents in a variety of ways.</div>

<div>This position will be based in Columbus, GA and will support the department by utilizing your expertise to perform a variety of general secretarial, clerical, and administrative support functions to include, but not limited to assisting patients with questions regarding available services, patient intake/data entry, verifying insurance information, collecting fees for services rendered, answering phones, operating standard office equipment, providing program information, filing, and other duties as assigned.</div>

Managing check-ins and check-outs</li><li>
Booking boarding, daycare, grooming, and training reservations</li><li>

Processing payments and balancing transactions</li><li>
Obtaining and verifying vaccination records</li><li>
Managing waitlists during peak seasons</li><li>
Recommending services and activity packages that meet client needs</li><li>

Keeping lobby and front areas clean and safe</li></ul>
You&rsquo;ll also jump in to help the team when needed &mdash; which may include handling pets, cleaning up occasional messes, and staying flexible in a fast-paced environment.
