<li>Receives mortgage, consumer loan, and other payments and ensures the payments match the balance due. Enter payments on the computer. Generates customer receipts.</li>
<li>Place a hold on accounts for uncollected funds.</li>
<li>Assist with preparing cash shipments to the Federal Reserve.</li>
<li>Counts, checks, and packages coins and currency.</li>
<li>Balances cash drawer at the end of the shift and compares total amounts to a computer-generated proof sheet. Reports any discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary.</li>
<li>Ensure that the teller station is properly stocked with forms, supplies, etc.</li>
<li>Exchange Foreign Currency and redeem Savings Bonds.</li>
<li>Balance and load ATM (troubleshoot any problems with the ATM). Report malfunctions of teller terminals and other equipment used at the teller station.</li>
<li>Maintain and secure cash drawers, ensuring compliance with all cash handling procedures</li>
<li>Responsible for checking night depository bags and recording the correct information on the financial institution&rsquo;s forms.</li>
<li>Assist with answering incoming calls and check-in and allow access to customers entering their Safety Deposit Box.</li>
<li>May cross-train in other departments on operational functions.</li>
<li>Actively participate in customer, community, and public relations activities to increase the bank&rsquo;s visibility and enhance new business opportunities.</li>

<div><b>40% </b>Demonstrates efficiency with financial transactions for consumer/ business accounts and loans; accurately processes cash and negotiable items as presented or requested; confirms intended transactions with members, non-members, or guest members to ensure needs are met while maintaining high-quality standards</div>

<div><b>20% </b>Balances cash drawer throughout the day and at the end of the shift to ensure transaction accuracy and maintain compliance; notifies supervisor of any outages as soon as they are realized to commence proper audit and research</div>
<div></div>
<div><b>15% </b>Maintains a working knowledge of products and services to then provide appropriate recommendations to members as the opportunity arises; adheres to prescribed individual baselines and assisting with branch baselines.</div>

<div><b>10% </b>Provides dual control support for all in-branch cash machines to include the daily maintenance, cash replenishment (if applicable), required balancing, and support for the following: cash recyclers, coin machines, coin dispensers, cash counters, and ATMs.</div>

<div><b>10% </b>Provides support for teller transactions, including check hold review, account overrides, complex transaction handling, and support for escalated account requests.</div>
