<div>Customer Service responsibilities include the processing of customer orders received either in person, via telephone, fax or internet. This person will assist the Branch Manager/ Branch Operations Manager and other branch associates as needed and will assist in daily task performance including invoicing; receiving and locating inventory, etc. We are looking for an innovative thinker who has a passion for interior design and customer service. Showroom Design Consultant responsibilities include assisting architects, contractors, and homeowners with tile selection, generating sales, and processing customer orders.</div>

<div></div><div><b>Sales Related Responsibilities</b>:<br>
</div><div>Promote add-on sales at the time of order entry via the promotion of sundries and other related items</div>
<ul><li>Assist trade and showroom customers in the selection of products</li>
<li>Acquire a high level of product knowledge about the company&rsquo;s products and be able to effectively respond to inquiries as they relate to the recommend (or restricted) use.</li>
<li>Maintain the CSR work area in an organized manner that is conducive to sales and service</li>
<li>Provide support to the OSR and BCSS in the performance of their duties. Assist as directed by Branch Manager/Branch Operations Manager</li>
<li>Develop and maintain a trade client base via in-house meeting(s) as well as telephone and internet communications</li>
<li>Proactively identify new opportunities and sales channels</li>
<li>Promote the branch showroom for use as a selection center for the A&amp;D trade, including the use of the showroom for trade events and promotions</li>
<li>Coordinate sales efforts with the OSR and BCSS sales team via regular meetings and the sharing of leads and other pertinent market information</li>
<li>Protect the integrity of the Florida Tile&rsquo;s pricing rules by effectively qualifying customers and their respective price template</li>

Operations and Support:</div>
<ul><li>Accurately perform order entry process, to include product, quantity and price verification</li>
<li>Confirm orders placed by customers via phone/fax/internet</li>
<li>Perform stock and price checks for customers and other branches</li>
<li>Provide freight/shipment information (cost/tracking/etc.) to customers/branches in a timely and accurate manner</li>
<li>Apply freight and handling expenses to orders so as to be able to effectively invoice customers for related expenses</li>
<li>Regularly follow up with customers as to the status of their order(s)</li>
<li>Make collection (A/R) calls/contacts as directed by Branch Manager/Branch Operations Manager</li>
<li>Assist the branch staff in all aspects of customer service, order processing, customer contact (call backs)</li>
<li>Assist the branch staff in the performance of daily tasks as directed by ABM/BM/RM, to include, but not limited to the daily deposit, daily invoicing, inventory receiving and locating, etc.</li>
<li>Responsible for maintaining the showroom and keeping all displayed products up to date, properly identified (labeled) and merchandised in a manner that projects a user friendly and informative environment</li>

</ul><div><b>QUALIFICATIONS:</b></div>
<ul><li>Customer service experience with a manufacturer of building products preferred.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>SAP software experience, CMS experiences a plus.</li>
<li>High School diploma or GED required.</li>
<li>Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office</li>
<li>Team player with commitment to company values.</li>
<li>Experience in the tile or flooring industry is a plus</li>
<li>Minimum of 12 months retail or sales experience</li>
<li>Education in marketing or design field a plus</li>
<li>Knowledge of inside sales techniques</li>
<li>Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships</li>
