  What You'll Do

 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  </li>
  <li>
   Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels when needed.
  </li>
  <li>
   Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  </li>
  <li>
   Monitor entry and restricted areas, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations in accordance with post instructions.
  </li>
  <li>
   Assist with directions, information, and general support while maintaining awareness of surroundings and documenting incidents, observations, and/or daily activities as required.

  Minimum Requirements

 <ul>
  <li>
   Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  </li>
  <li>
   Customer service experience is preferred.
  </li>
  <li>
   Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  </li>
  <li>
   Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
  </li>
  <li>
   Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  </li>
  <li>
   As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  </li>
  <li>
   Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  </li>
  <li>
   As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
