 As the Event Registration &amp; Customer Support Associate, you&rsquo;ll be a key member of TED&rsquo;s Events department, guiding attendees through the registration process, providing white-glove customer service and ensuring a seamless experience leading up to and during conferences and events. You&rsquo;re customer-focused and detail-oriented with a proactive approach, able to expertly support attendees as well as manage data and compile audience analytics.

 2-3 flagship conferences (up to 2000 attendees) held each year in North America + around the globe

   Provide world-class customer service via email and phone to facilitate a smooth registration journey for attendees ahead of the conference.

   Support and process attendee registrations, including troubleshooting, payment tracking, creating reports and updating database content.

   Lead conference crew and vendor check-in process, including managing pre-conference registration, training and supervising accreditation staff, and overseeing the crew and vendor check-in area.

   Lead crew and vendor check-in onsite at conference venues for extended periods (often between 7-14 days per event).

   Prepare front-of-house staffing plans (check-in staff, coat check, and wayfinders) in collaboration with internal stakeholders and oversee the team on prep and event days.

   Provide world-class customer support for event attendees during pre-planning via email and in-person on event day.

<ul><li>Takes ownership for enhancing the customer experience by greeting all Members in a professional and engaging manner demonstrating a Members First experience</li><li>Assist other Store Support associates with Unloading DC trucks, moves merchandise to appropriate staging locations, and maintains stockrooms in a neat, orderly, and safe manner and executes all new receipt functions</li><li>Serves Members promptly at Merchandise Pick Up</li><li>Performs Fill Floor process multiple times per day based on business need, pulling and staging merchandise both in the stockroom and on the floor</li><li>Executes Footwear Display verification and Floor Sample scans and completes follow-up actions</li><li>Locates and pulls merchandise on Out of Stock Pull List and stocks/replenishes the merchandise on the floor and performs accurate count updates and inventory adjustments</li><li>Locates and pulls merchandise and fixtures to support sales floor resets and performs all aspects of the reset</li><li>Completes minor repairs of stock and Member merchandise</li><li>Versed in the benefits of Shop Your Way, the elements of a WOW experience, and able to sell the program to Members</li><li>Adheres to merchandise and inventory protection standards.</li><li>Performs promotional ad setup and take down without error or omissions in assigned areas</li><li>Follows all store standards for backroom</li><li>Responsible for keeping the Footwear department ready all day and ensuring the sales floor is easy to shop, in stock, clean, signed and organized for customers</li><li>Adheres to merchandise protection standards</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned</li></ul><br>

REQUIRED SKILLS:</b><br>
<ul><li>Basic reading, arithmetic, and writing and oral communication skills</li><li>Working while standing for long periods of time</li><li>Lifting and holding bulky and large-sized merchandise, up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Reaching, stretching, grabbing, pushing, lifting, holding, twisting, bending, turning, walking, shifting, and engaging in other physical movements required by the job</li><li>Associates under the age of 18 - prohibited from using freight elevators, ladders, compactors, balers, or hazardous or similar equipment, or performing backroom functions</li><li>Basic Internet navigation skills</li></ul><br>
