Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</b></div><div><ul><li>
Optimize the reliability and performance of the mechanical systems within our data centers. Serve as an onsite technical resource of mechanical infrastructure systems and equipment, with an emphasis on practical field operation.</li><li>
Ensure appropriate cross-functional collaboration between the local facility team and applicable local and global teams.</li><li>
Contribute to the mechanical safety program for the site.</li></ul></div><ul><li>
Enhance the team&rsquo;s ability to operate, maintain, and repair mechanical systems.</li><li>
Oversee the preparation, execution, and quality control for all work on mechanical systems.</li></ul><div><ul><li>
Plan resource, author or approve work procedures to cover mechanical troubleshooting, repair, retrofit, and maintenance activities, with an emphasis on assessing &amp; mitigating personnel and critical systems and operational risk.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Conduct or oversee hands-on troubleshooting, repair, retrofit, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.</li><li>
Oversee mechanical system configurations and component upgrades to ensure system integrity is maintained and that all modifications to existing systems comply with best practices, including change control processes. Provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) oversight of construction projects &amp; maintenance activities.</li></ul></div><ul><li>
Lead the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process for mechanical system events, faults, and issues.</li><li>
Develop and maintain operating procedures (SOP/MOP/EOP). All documentation should be consistent with current client standards.</li><li>
Manage the vendor relationships which provide support for our mechanical systems.</li></ul><div><ul><li>
Train CFEs on mechanical system fundamentals during their initial qualification process. Provide formal classroom training to Critical Facility Engineers and other cross functional teams on mechanical equipment, systems, procedures, and changes to include mechanical/fire &amp; life safety/industrial water equipment/systems and procedures.</li></ul></div><ul><li>
Foster a collaborative team culture built on mutual respect and a shared mission to be the best data center operators in our industry.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Minimum Qualifications:</b></div><br>
<div></div><ul><li>
7 years of experience in the mechanical industry in a mission critical environment.</li></ul><div><ul><li>
A relevant accredited bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering or engineering technology, coupled with at least 4 years of relevant mechanical industry experience, will be considered as an alternative to the requirement for 7+ years of mechanical industry experience.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Proficient in critical environments with a track record of success.</li></ul></div><ul><li>
Comprehensive experience performing mechanical operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.</li></ul><div><ul><li>
Extensive experience in understanding mechanical plans, specifications, and equipment shop drawings.</li></ul></div><ul><li>
Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings.</li><li>
Working knowledge of electrical, controls, and fire suppression/alarm systems associated with mission critical environments.</li><li>
Familiarity with brazing, grinding, and refrigerant work. Possesses a working knowledge of trend charts and refrigeration cycles.</li><li>
Experience working in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.</li><li>
Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.</li><li>

Data Center Certified Associate (DCCA) or Certified Mission Critical Operator (CMCO)</li><li>
Familiarity with NFPA standards</li><li>
Familiarity with ASHRAE standards</li><li>
Familiarity with the International Mechanical Code</li><li>

The base salary range for this role is $133,200.00 annually.
