Job Purpose/Summary</b></p><p>

<li>Support users (e.g., faculty, staff, students, P-12 teachers and leaders, and other external partners) of the online data management system, including assisting them with logging on, entering data, running reports, and accessing information.</li>
<li>Provide training for all new users, including creating training materials, conducting online and in-person training workshop, troubleshooting user interface concerns, and developing guidance materials for installing and navigating system updates</li>
<li>Support School of Education and Academic Affairs leadership and faculty and staff in accessing data directly from the system as needed</li>

</ul><div><b>Maintenance of Data Management System (30%)</b></div><ul>
<li>Maintain and update the electronic data management system (Watermark) that collects and stores evidence and assessments across School of Education (SoE) programs as well as University Annual Reports</li>
<li>Works with leadership in the college&rsquo;s Information Resources (IR) department to install Watermark system updates, resolve technical issues, and better integrate the Watermark system with the college&rsquo;s technological infrastructure</li>
<li>Oversee input of data related to assessment of teacher education programs (clinical placement information, student course schedules, survey results, etc.to the Watermark system and ensure all data sets are entered in a timely manner</li>
<li>Prepare data reports for internal and external constituents using statistical methods to analyze, summarize and present data</li>
<li>Support departments in implementing their program assessment and data collection plans and ensure all program data is entered by established deadlines</li>
<li>Stay current with technical processes and updates to the Watermark system by working directly with the vendor and attending professional development conferences and workshops related to maintenance of system and building relationships with key personnel from the vendor</li>
</ul><div><b>Preparation, Reporting, and Dissemination of Data (30%)</b></div><ul>
<li>Conduct statistical analyses of data and help review and summarize assessment results using statistical analyses to monitor fairness, reliability, and validity of assessments</li>
<li>Prepare and disseminate reports to support annual and periodic data analyses and action planning in teacher education and across the university</li>
<li>Prepare reports as needed to support the development of self-studies and institutional reports both for the Teacher Education Unit and university-wide strategic planning</li>
<li>Oversee the dissemination of assessment data from the Watermark system to departments and university offices for program and curricular planning</li>

Role Overview
<br>The Clinical Data Manager is responsible for collaborating with the Clinical Data Management team and other internal stakeholders to deliver accurate, high-quality, and timely data management services for customers. This role provides expert guidance on data management activities, authors study-specific documents, ensures compliance with standards, and drives continuous improvement in processes and deliverables.

<b>Key Accountabilities:</b><br>
<ul>
<li>Collaborate across functional groups to resolve technical issues impacting data quality and support technical initiatives within Data Management.</li>
<li>Provide data management guidance to internal project team members and customers.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers on all aspects of study-specific data management activities.</li>
<li>Author Data Management Plans (DMPs) and Data Transfer Specifications (DTS).</li>
<li>Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) on reports and automated data checks used in data cleaning activities.</li>
<li>Review, evaluate, and act on outputs from automated data checks.</li>
<li>Facilitate risk assessments for mid-study changes.</li>
<li>Verify data extracts against DTS requirements.</li>
<li>Provide proactive data monitoring as per contractual obligations.</li>
<li>Facilitate and verify data clarifications, corrections, and external data reconciliation.</li>
<li>Contribute to process improvements that reduce timelines, increase quality, mitigate risks, and enhance overall team performance.</li>
