We are looking for a Senior Data Security Engineer to join our Grid and Energy Services team to own and implement data security governance across the Azure data platform, embedding encryption, access controls and privacy into all data systems. The ideal candidate can set standards and ensure compliance while guiding architecture and risk management across multiple departments within this team.

Partner with Security, Legal, and Compliance to align with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR, delivering audit-ready logging and traceability</li><li>
Embed security and governance into pipelines, IaC, and APIs using policy-as-code and standardized onboarding requirements</li><li>

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</b></h3><ul><li>
8+ years in data engineering, security, governance, or cloud platforms, with 3+ years focused on data security/governance</li><li>
Strong hands-on experience with Azure data services and security controls</li><li>
Expertise in encryption, key management, and securing data lakes/warehouses on Azure</li><li>
Proficiency in Python, SQL, or KQL for data and analytics workflows</li><li>
Experience building or operating multi-tenant SaaS data platforms on Azure</li><li>

 As a Data Protection Senior Engineer, you will leverage your experience in Data Loss Prevention (DLP), data discovery, access governance, database monitoring, Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Cata classification and rights management. Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $94,736 – $ 150,525. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Description of Duties:</b></p><ul><li>
Secure Connection Management: Oversee the security of network tunnels and data-in-transit protocols. This includes managing the certificates and configurations for VPNs, secure gateways, and encrypted communication channels that link internal networks to external service providers.</li><li>
Lifecycle Automation: Develop and implement automated workflows for the lifecycle of security credentials. This reduces manual intervention, minimizes human error, and ensures timely rotation to meet security standards.</li><li>
Identity &amp; Access Integration: Align access with the organization&rsquo;s identity management framework. Ensure that only authorized systems and personnel can access sensitive keys and that all access is logged and audited according to the principle of least privilege.</li><li>
