The Tri-County Technical College Health Education Division is seeking a Dentist as a Dental Assisting Adjunct Instructor. Reporting to the Dental Assisting Program Director, and Department Head of Health Professions, the successful candidates will be responsible for lecture and/or lab settings using systematically planned and delivered instruction for the program; maintain records of student academic progress and attendance, evaluate level of achievement, and assign grades for the program. Courses are offered during the day at our Pendleton campus. The dentist will be working with students in the on campus clinic to teach and instruct in clinical procedures and radiology. Other opportunities for lecture and lab may be considered as needed. The Fall 2026 Semester employment begins August 10, 2026. This role is part time and does not include benefits</div>

Job Summary:</div><div>
Adjunct instructors are required to provide instruction and monitor learning/teaching effectiveness in courses assigned by the Program Director. They are responsible for, but are not limited to, the following:</div><ul><li>
Teach the following course(s): 1. General Physics.</li><li>
Prepare and, on the first day of class, distribute course syllabi which informs the students as to absences, tardiness, testing, assignments and grading policies.</li><li>
Inform students of their progress by promptly returning assignments, quizzes, tests and homework.</li><li>
Compile, administer and grade instruments that evaluate student progress.</li><li>
Encourage the use of school resources, outside library and internet sources.</li><li>
Counsel students and notify student and Program Director of frequent absences, failures, or necessary make-up work.</li><li>
Hold all assigned classes on time in the assigned classrooms and be available to students 15 minutes before class, except between classes (if teaching courses back-to-back), and 15 minutes after class to offer guidance/tutoring to students.</li><li>

Are you passionate about STEM?
CCCSD, in conjunction with Black Rocket Productions, is seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as an Assistant Instructor to help teach exciting classes like ROBLOX, Video Game Design, Minecraft, and MORE!
An Assistant Instructor must be at least 18 years of age by May 2026. This is a perfect job for undergrad students with summers off who want to teach children various types of new technology. Assistant Instructors are adults who, with the Lead Instructors, are responsible for the well-being and education of the students. Experience working with children and/or the technology used in class are preferred. Classroom management skills are valued. Upon completion of the Black Rocket training program, instructors must demonstrate competency in the core concepts and software used. This is a seasonal position for the month of July.
